Appalling product and shocking customer service

We bought luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring from United Carpets in March 2022 for £2,150, supplied and fitted by them. Within just two years it started turning bright green.

We reported this in December 2024 and spent almost a year chasing a response.

When they finally replied in October 2025, our claim was dismissed. They blamed UV light despite the problem starting in winter, and despite the fact that everything else in the same sunlight our blinds, kitchen worktops, table and mats remains perfect.

The product is poor quality, the excuses are ridiculous, and the aftersales support is non-existent.

For the price and promises made, this is totally unacceptable.

United Carpets refuse to take responsibility or stand by their products. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
