I would not use Union Eye Care

Went to Union Eye Care in Mentor, Ohio for glasses and contacts. Placed seemed unorganized right from the start. But that wasn't my biggest issues. They said they do price matching for contacts and said theirs cost over $70 for 1 box. I looked them up while sitting there and found them for $30 a box. They then tell me they can't match that price but a rebate would make it close. Well I can use the same rebate on the $30 boxes. Then they said my glasses would take 1 week to come in. It's been almost 3 and havn't heard from them. I called and they said they came in and didn't pass inspection and would be another few days. Worst eye place I have ever went to.

I purchased two pairs of glasses from union eye care in North Olmsted. First, their store is outdated, sloppy, disorganized and all the selections are not in the right place. Even their advertisement displays are in shambles. Second, I've been going to this store for years ONLY because of the doctor. He's fabulous. His staff is rude, they are old and mouthy. You tell them you like a pair of glasses and they tell you they look wrong and want to hand you another pair totally out of your style? Why would I take glasses style advice from a 56+ year old man?? Then after I tell him no, that I did not like them, he "accidentally" charges me up for those frames??? I caught it when he handed me my receipt! Lastly, it took over 1 month to get my first pair of glasses. The 2nd pair took over 2 months because their lab messed up. The 2nd pair the vision isn't even right. I've been telling them for over a month they are not right and I am returning them and they gave me some attitude that corporate will call me. Corporate never called me and I am ready to call the BBB on them. $370 for a pair of glasses and they can't even get it right!!! Do not shop with them - best thing to do is visit your eye doc and take the script to frames direct online or an online source. Wayyy better experience. Never again.

I am still waiting for my glasses I order over going on 2 month s and no glass and they claim having issue with the poly coating from one of the company and not meeting quality control and still waiting and I also paid it full using my flexible health care and this is crazy and not very happy customer

Union Eye Care in Ohio-- glasses late & they abuse me

They are late in delivering a pair of glasses I paid for in full. I have to keep calling and they make excuses about the lab and could really care less. I need the glasses. I have very little free time to travel to their location and had arranged to picke them up yesterday and they were not ready. I asked for them to be mailed to me and they say, "Are you kiding?" and hang up. One guy started to THREATEN me. Unbelievably bad customer service from every single person. Union Eye Care-- Cleveland Ohio area-- do not spend your $$ there.

Worst frame selection, they sell old models for more than the price they were when they first came out! If you do get the glasses when they say they will be ready, they will arrive broken.

Nobody threatens anybody for one.....Secondly, we at Union Eye Care bend over back wards for you worthless, toad stool customers and this is the thanks we get in return? You come into are stores, with your bad attitudes, and your bad breath, and your stanky BO, wanting your eye glasses right then and there. Like we are suppose to drop everything and wait on you personally???

Most of you *** can't even flush the toilets when you use our restrooms in the store, rooster tailing our toilets.....Tell you what; you little pie *** pis* ants, get back on the RTA bus, take your money and your lousy attitudes and go pound salt. :(

The same thing happened to me. It took over a month to get my glasses.

They blamed it on the lab and offered me a free pair of cheap sunglasses. No thanks.

The manager was extremely rude. This company sucks big time.


Same thing is happening to me. A month and a half and no glasses and now they are promising to give me free sunglasses for my patience.

I am going to my comp;anys lawyer.They cant even deliver the regular glasses so how can they deliver the sunglasses.

NEVER use this company. It is a scam.
