POOR SERVICE
- - 2019 Ram 1500, ~11k mi; rear noise since ~3k mi.
- - Bearing replaced 9/19/19; noise persists; truck still at dealer; FCA case opened 9/25, no contact.
I have a 2019 Ram 1500 with about 11000 miles. Around 3000 miles I started hearing a noise in the rear end.
Took it to the dealer, they said they could not hear anything. Took it back for the first oil change and had the service rep ride with me. Yep there is a noise. Two more visits and they determined that it was the right rear wheel bearing.
Two more trips and they replaced it on 9/19/19. Noise still there. Truck still there. 9/24 no word from the dealer so I call.
I was told that they had only been able to work on it for about 1 hour because they had other customers with appointments. Apparently if your vehicle is already in for repairs it gets put on hold. Called and got a case opened with FCA on 9/25 and was told the case worker would contact me today. No Contact so I called about 5pm CST and was told I would get a call before close of business, they said that was 8pm EST.
I called again at 7:35 CST and sure enough the case worker was gone for the day.
Five trips to the dealer and my truck is still there. Guess how I feel about RAM
