I had hundreds of packages insured by this company and as as soon as I filed one claim it was denied on some stupid grounds. Basically your chances to get paid are close to zero.

They have overcharged me. I called twice in 3 weeks.
Both times 'They were in a meeting." I got promises both times someone would call me back.
When I called the 2nd time, the receptionist remembered me and said she emailed 5 people the 1st time. It's been a week after the 2nd phone call and I'm still waiting for someone, anyone to get back to me.

U-PIC Insurance Is scandalous and irreputable company.

During my years of doing business , I have encountered a few instances of missing /late packages, How ever i have never been duped out of insurance claims if they came into play. I find this company U-PIC Insurance Services to be scandalous and intentional in the finding ways to deny what is there legal obligation.
They are a black eye on the industries and should be no longer allowed to perform in the insurance business. There licence should be terminated as they are aforementioned scandalous and irreputable company. According to Department Record. Enclosed is the more information about this company.

Horrible Company

Our charity ships through Endicia. But our insurance was cancelled (the only insurance available through Endicia) because, according to U-Pic, they paid out something like $2200 and only received about $1600 in payments from us.
So, if you pay $1000 for car insurance and your car is totalled, they cancel you? The Post Office just lost a $1000 set of books we mailed. With no insurance, we are out $1000. For more than a year now, we have had to ship without insurance.
The Post Office also lost a $500 set of books. Why would anyone need insurance, if they pay more to the insurance company than the claim.
U-Pic's explanation was that they need to make a profit off of every customer. We will need to switch to Stamps.com, which owns Endicia, but uses a different insurer.

U-PIC doesn't cover lost Amazon packages showing delivered by USPS tracking

Amazon holds the Seller responsible for shipments until they are received by the Buyer. It's not unusual for a customer to say they didn't get their package, although tracking shows delivered.
While in many of these cases, the customer will finally learn that the package was mis-delivered to a wrong address.
We decided to try the U-PIC Insurance Services for our many first class packages valued at less than $40. We've spent several hundred dollars total over the past few months insuring each and every package shipped on a daily basis. A customer recently contacted us regarding a package he hasn't received, although tracking shows "delivered".
U-PIC says they will be liable for "lost property", yet DECLINED our first and only claim since we started using the insurance months ago. We won't be wasting any more money on this insurance.

U-pic canceled my insurance- they are terrible

Over the past 4 years, I only filed legitimate claims of packages that the US Postal Service (USPS) either didn't deliver or that arrived damaged, as verified by the addressees. I run a small business and rely on USPS.
U-pic is unethical to cancel insurance that is being legitimately used. What a scam! Avoid them if you can. They should be reported to the Attorney General.
What's the point of paying extra for insurance if they act this way? Keep in mind I have send thousands of packages with no problems, and then when a few were a problem, they cancel my insurance!
U-PIC cancelled my policy

I have been buying insurance through U-PIC for almost 5 years and in past year filed two claims — both of which were due to damage done while the package was in customs. So, they cancelled my policy.
Just like most insurance companies–file a claim and they cancel you right away. Bless their heart, Tami Roman is a doll when trying to get you to sign with the company but rest assured that the minute you file 2 claims her attitude as well as the claims department changes. The response I got, “you should be happy that we covered your claims”………. What does one say to that?
Then not only do they cancel you insurance THEY no longer allow you to process your postage/insurance through Endica.com.
Oh well….. That’s the insurance world for you.
