Tyrepower Mackay

The old bloke ownermanager and the lad who serves behind the counter at Tyrepower Mackay in my opinion are either straight up liars or have no idea what they're talking about, not for a moment do I believe they are that clueless so you decide. I go in asking for a dynamic balance all round vs static balance due to balance issues my wife's car had developed after they did a static balance, now instead of letting me know that my vehicle would have wheels balanced as requested they proceed to take the turns in telling me I am wrong and the machine tells them to only place weight on the inside of the steel rim (when you set it like that it will), 5 tyres balanced static on her car, the 4 they blatantly refused to properly dynamic balance on my vehicle and I noticed that all the finished vehicles out the back had the same issue static balance, funny that machine seems bias. These people I assume have obviously set their machine to only place weight on the inside of rim (static balance) as I know this is a practice certain companies use as it saves both time and money, but gives the customer who pays for a proper service only half nob and an inferior job (I hear all the half job Harrys out there screaming otherwise, Google will back me up though I am pretty sure).Anyway if you want argumentative and BS service with half a job plus lies I think Tyrepower Mackay is the go. I regret greatly the $2000 plus spent there.

I have spent time working with mates in the past who have been fitters and my uncle has managed a Kmart tyre and auto store for 20+ years and was Ford mechanic before that so I have a enough knowledge and a vast knowledge base to call upon in making this complaint.Do not treat any customer inquiries as a personal slight.Do not argue with the customer when you know what type of balance is being asked for and what type is supplied.Do not lie to customers as not everyone is clueless and only serves to lose you thousands in future sales. Considering how business is taking a hit around Mackay think about your customers and not just how slighted you feel when someone asks for the job to get done properly.Disappointed doesn't cover the way this experience left me.
