Did not pay worker what was due
I worked for this company in May. I started work, then took some time off to get married and get my wifes stuff moved in.
I was told not to come back to work, then was called out of the blue weeks later and asked to come work that week, so I said o.k. WEll that day i started back i was really sick, but i worked the whole day, i thought i was just dehydrated so i said i would be into work in the morning. WEll when i woke up at 5a.m., i could barely move and felt on fire. Long story short, i called and text to let them know i was going to dr( i am a veteran and have to make an appt at the local va clinic in oakwood, sometimes you can wait a day to get into the clinic).
Luckily i was able to seen before noon, and as soon as i was done i called work, no answer, so i text a picture of my prescription and let them know what was going on. NO ANSWER, till later from a number i didn't recognize, telling me i was FIRED for not calling or showing, up. I called the number back, NO ANSWER, so i forward all the texts that i had sent to all 3 numbers i had on file for this company. This company owes me for work i did for them, i have been waiting since MAY.
Today 7/1/13 someone answered the phone for the first time when my wife called and hung up on her. I have been promised by texts every week at some point it was sent, yet i have NEVER seen a check. The address was finally verified today, and a tracking number has been promised 3-4 times but yet nothing was sent, and my wife was told before she was hung up on that i would have to pay for it to be overnight ed.
The BBB cant do anything about it, i would have to take them to court. If they can do this to an employee imagine what they could do to a customer.
DONT USE TURTLE CREEK LAWNCARE
The worst lawn care company Ive ever used. They treated my house with pre emergent and I had just seeded my lawn...heres the funny thing, I never signed up for their service.
they were supposed to treat my neighbors yard. They have a terrible owner that knows nothing about lawn care and they dont know what type of product to use for what time of year it is. Customer service is terrible to. I heard they dilute their liquid chemicals to save money and buy the cheapest stuff possible to treat a yard.
I have also heard they dont pay their employees on time and dont pay them the correct amounts. They are seasonal, they will lay you off when business slows down.
Point is, HIGH PRICES, poor company, poor results, and poor management = TERRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE TURTLE CREEK LAWNCARE!!!!

A representative of Turtle Creek Lawn care came by and gave me a quote for my lawn. I agreed to the service.
However, I tried on several occasions to contact them to find out when things would get started. No one EVER answered the phone. It is a recorded message stating their business hours and to leave a message. After left messages, I got no response.
Good thing I never paid anything. So, I will take my business elsewhere, because it is apparent to me that customers or potential customers are not worth a phone call.
