- Brindley Place bottomless brunch on 23.05.25 had slow service and long drink waits.
- Tiffany was polite; Waqas sent a bottle not prosecco with no apology.
My partner and I had booked a bottomless brunch at Brindley Place on 23.05.25 at 5 PM. We have had these many times before, and they have been very good.
Yesterday's was really poor. We were constantly waiting for drinks for at least 15-20 minutes; we had 5 within the 2 hours. It seemed they were very short-staffed. Our server, Tiffany, was very polite and did her best under the circumstances.
Other tables next to us seemed to get a constant flow of drinks and never had to wait. We asked to speak to the manager, Waqas; he was very dismissive and did not apologize once, just sent a bottle of 'prosecco' over, which wasn't actually prosecco at all (shown in the pic below). We spoke to him again, and he was dismissive yet again, saying, 'You have your prosecco.' An apology would have been much more appreciated than a cheap bottle of wine.
He was very rude and did not want to hear us out at all, which is very bad customer service. This bad experience has made me reluctant to attend this particular restaurant again.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Maybe choose a different Turtle Bay if you want quick service

Your request for a full refund of £40.80 per person (this is $55 in US dollars) is entirely inappropriate as you mention no complaints with the food or with the drinks you did receive. Your complaint is you did not get enough alcoholic beverages in that 2 hour window you are given with the bottomless bunch.
Perhaps the manager felt your party was getting too inebriated and he needed to slow down the drinks coming out to your table?! If you had complained directly to corporate, maybe they would have given you a small gift card.
I don't know. But to request a full refund is entitled, greedy, inappropriate and will only make people think you are a grifter.
It sounds like he had you figured out for the beggars that you are. Karma will come at you hard 10-fold.
