I like my apartment it's pretty big for the price other places are smaller for more

The apartment itself is pretty big I like the walk in closet and balcony alot.. The water gets turned off alot so that kinda sucks and the walls are kinda thin and the guys play the music loud sometimes. When o first moved in it always smelled like weed or burnt plastic so that was weird I asked a couple of my friends what the burned plastic smell could be and they said it could be a *** lab to cover up the smell of making *** Luckily one day it just stopped smelling like that I guess someone got kicked out or cleaned up their act thank God it stunk. Other than that it's ok to live here and I don't have any problems with management the pet deposit is really high so I haven't got a dog or cat just can't afford much extra since I'm on disability and dont get to work very often

My mother lived there for 10+ yrs. I moved in to help her. She passed away and I stayed in that *** hole for 5 more yrs. They painted over apts and up dated theirs but never improved my 15+ yr old apt. The window in the dinning room leaked when it rained, I complained for over a year, the whole wall was covered with mold. I was never late on my rent and I never caused any problems. I had my rent raised twice,mind u I lived in a 15+ yr old apt. I still paid more than some and they had new apts. After I was there for 2 yrs they came at me with pet deposit of $600 I know of 2 other tenants that have never paid pet deposit. They still live there and Im sure they are more. My toilet ran over with literal "***" in my hall, closet, part bedroom and half livingroom. I could'nt get a hold of maintance so I had to walk around and knock on doors until I found out where mgmt lived. Many hours they showed up. 15+ yr old carpet, they replaced the padding and cleaned the carpet. I am an older disabled woman I had a handicap placket in front of my apt , I can't do steps very well, they moved it over so now I could'nt back up to unload groceries Mel, mgmt, said too bad. Mel, mgmt, told another tenant that we both know well that she loved my mother but she didn't like me, she didn't know why. I paid $750 in deposits and I got back $247 back. The only thing I left was a pile of trash because the dumpsters were always full. They cut down how many they have and how many times it's picked up. Last but not least if you like hot water this is NOT the place for you. Mgmt hiring their boyfriends free or reduced rent it goes on and on. Horrible vendictive ppl.

I've lived in Turnberry Apartments since 2010, I've had 2 one bedrooms, a townhouse and a one bedroom flat. Water issue aside, it's wonderful! My brother in law is a maintenance man and I can tell you personally they do work hard all day to make sure we are comfortable. And the water issue, is addressed in your lease when you sign it. If you didn't read it before you signed it, that's your problem. The whole complex runs off one huge tank, if course there are going to be issues. I've lived here for 2 years maintenance sucks it takes up to three months and you constantly *** to get anything done.I've never seen the security they say they have there's no handicap access except for two buildings out of 140 apartments but I will say the units are very big and you have easy access to hwy 9 it's a great and quiet place to live as long as nothing breaks or needs repair

Turnberry Apartments one of the highest crime areas in Norman, OK. You'll be pulled over, just for driving through here. In the past year, there have been three different managers, two of them accused of embezzlement and drug activity, and the current one is no better. They claim they have no records, so they expect tenants to pay again and again and again. The heat and air do not work properly, never have in the six or so years I've been here. This month, on around April 5, we got a notice on the door telling all tenants we have to live without hot water for almost a month. Eventually, they opened one apartment, expecting tenants to use the same bathtub!!! The current manager is the rudest of all, and that is saying a lot! They get you in with the 'bills paid', but when nothing works, is it really worth it? I think not!!!

Melanie is the worst and most unprofessional manager on the face of the planet! I cannot understand for the life of me that every time a work order is placed, it never gets completely fixed and then weeks go by (maybe months) and next time you mention it, they act like you didn't tell them about the problem, so it must be my problem, right?

The manager is definitely on drugs or something and this place is getting super shady. I have lived here almost two years and am on my way out! I can't take the drama anymore. I agree with the one consumer, the all bills paid gets you in the door, but when nothing is fixed, the water is turned off 6-8 times a month, and you have to deal with the unprofessionalism of a manager who makes her own rules...well, it's time to go on and find a new place to live.

It's on my to do list. Believe me and DO NOT LIVE here. You will regret it eventually.

I could tell you stories, but then that would only allow them to know who I am. This place can suck it!

I've lived here for more than 3 years and the water issues aside, I love it here! Melanie has worked her tail off trying to rebuild this place,like when 55 lower units flooded after one of our big rains.Instead of trying to just make it LOOK better,they are rebuilding the place with tenants in the units so it MAY take a little time for someone to come out and fix your toilet that won't stop running,etc.If I can fix, I do, yes maintenance can but they are a great crew of guys and work hard all day long.I hate that the rent keeps going up but Melanie has NO control over that,the money for the rebuild has to come from somewhere to make this not only a stable place to live in OK weather but is trying to *** out the criminal elements.To the person who has been here 6 years,why are you still here?!Leave!

Please leave! To the one afraid they may figure out who you are but what you do or do not say speaks volumes,again,please,just leave. We have far too many princes & princesses in Norman being so close to campus,this is an ALL BILLS PAID apartment! If you do not or cannot realize that comes with minor glitches, you too should please just leave.

For Melanie & her crew, I have lived in every possible housing this place has to offer & I loved them all.

If I had my remodeled one bedroom back, I'd never leave. ;)
