I am not getting answers get it set up so somebody is available to talk to after hours to why my car keeps getting declined saying I have insufficient funds when I have plenty of money in the bank and everybody has their set hours as to when they work I'm trying to order some food!
- No after hours people available to answer questions when problems arise

Double charge
I have an auto loan with them and for months they have been charging me double. Every month I call and I'm told the problem has been resolved. Only to be charged double each month, then having to argue to get my money sent to their savings account where I have to transfer it to my own bank account.

I had insurance with progressive switched to All-State then truwest said I didn't have insurance ..I have always had insurance since I bought my rav4 in May of last year..haven't miss any payments since bought my car..this miss communication shouldn't take 2 months too resolve they put insurance from them that is real expensive so they tried to over double my payment from 450 to 850..now they reported this to my credit this is so wrong and classless..I will never have anything to do with this bank again. Total greed

I need to pay for my car, please call me today at 602 380 ** ** since Friday I have been communicating but the girls and the man who attended me did not speak Spanish I could not communicate with them that is why they did not attend me

ATM stole my checks
I was at your ATM on superstition Springs I placed 2 checks in for deposit totaling $200 the ATM went ballistic didn't give me my checks back and wouldn't give me my card back after 15 minutes of sitting there It finally gave me my card back but it wouldn't give me my checks back and they're not in my Savings account I can't stay there all night. And I refuse to put my card back in that same ATM.
I got out of my car and use the other ATM to put cash in.
After multiple times have trying to call you.There is nobody there to answer the phone in this emergency. You better find those checks!
THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT, and all my money was gone for two months. the bank did not try to contract me to see what was going on. I did hear from bank when it was over drawen, and my money
a company that I did not Authorize to take money from my account. when I got a bank statement in December I called them, They where suppose to stop taking money, and put the money back.
My bank card expired in December 2018. so I was not able to check if the money was returned. then I received a letter from the bank saying that my account was overdrawen and I had 14 days to put my in my account to cover it. but, they had not sent my bank card.
And I had e mailed them about the card. and I had not gotten another bank statement until the 17th of January. So I sent another e mail to the bank, I stopped my auto deposit, this way my money would not be taken. And I e mail the bank and told them to close my account.
the bank did not help me at all. I was using the Branch in Scottsdale.
Frustratingly Difficult Company
First off. The location tool on the app, says "branch" but your chances of actually finding a branch is slim and none... Shows so many non TruWest CU branches.
ATM's ARENT TruWest ATM's and hardly any take deposit and still charge you.
Payroll deposit through an ATM took 4 days...
Called in to reopen a linked account I accidently marked as closed, and they referred me to transfer not linked accounts, which is what I wanted to see was a linked high yield account.
The website is FANTASTIC, very detailed but still easy to use which is rare...
my biggest frustration with TWCU is that you CANNOT see your F*ing account number or member number online or in the app. I've asked for it many times over the phone, ended up just writing it down....

Cancelled my debit card three times for no reason I call and they have no explanation
Truwest Credit Union Marketing Department Review
Corporate office marketing department is completely unorganized and doesn't have a clue of what they're doing, except misleading the customer. I witnessed first hand as a past employee what they do to cover up mistakes.
The Marketing Director is a complete wack job who is very unskilled and relies on overworked employees to do her job for her.
Do not work corporate unless you don't value a work-life balance. Also don't expect HR to hel you out either.

Went to the branch got there at 4 pm had to wait till 5.11 pm before I got to talk to some one that just got my info on a piece of paper and told me that they will get back to me the next day , the next day I received a phone call to stop at the Elliott branch and bring the 5 dollars to deposit my what ever I wanted to got there then i found out that they pulled and submitted a hard inquiry in my credit report when they have never told about it at all when I asked oh sorry it was so late when u got here and we were short handed excuses only I'm so disappointed
Credit Line Review
I have been an account holder for about 15 when it was still Motorola credit union. I have a line of credit and I was 24 days late with the $25 payment.
They froze my account instead of contacting me. These bully tactics are not what keeps loyal customers. They would rather lose a 15 year cistomer over $25? Really?
That seems like bad business to me. So much for loyalty.
TruWest has horrible credit card policies
TruWest has deplorable credit card policies. The second you are late they lock you out of everything.
OK, I can see that, but they don't let you talk to any customer service people if you are having a technical problem. Their policy is to send you straight to the bill collector who cannot do anything for you at all. I could not even see what my payment due was online because they locked out the internet access to my account. How can I pay if I don't know what I owe?
One day after being late they send you a *** form letter from their bill collector. That costs money that I have to pay. Their policy makes you out to be a criminal.
I will hold my card, but NEVER use it again. Now you can pay to service MY account.

We had a car loan through TruWest Credit Union and paid on time for just shy of 3 years with them. I went to sell the car and had a buyer lined up and was trying to sell the car before the next car payment was do and paid on the 19th of the month which I thought 30 days was the 20th of that month but I guess since the month before had 31 days I ended up paying on the 30th day and then 2 days from that day the car was bought and paid for in full.
They reported a late payment to my credit... Scam artists, all customer service would do is give me attitude and the manager was a robot and would only say that they can't do anything... They can choose to remove a report based on clear circumstances. I am glad they made all interest off me and then just say screw the customer and don't care.
I never do business with them again and never recommend anyone to them.
I will be filing a formal complaint and doing whatever I can to dispute this. Beware they will not be there to help you when you need them
