Disappointed in Service and quality of work on vehicle

TruWest Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Disappointed in Service and quality of work on vehicle
Updated by user Nov 18, 2022

Not resolved, not contacted. TrueWest in Cortez/Durango poor customer service.

DPF failed, Service department replaced filter and serviced the EGR cooler and valve. Picked up truck when it was repaired, drove it less than 80 miles, and the service light came on and went into re-generation mode. Took it back in, service manager said that they would have to replace a sensor and it would be another $280 something dollars but said he was going to work with me and NOT charge me any labor. For something they should have replaced in the first place! Not a good representation for Ram.

Poor Service

TruWest Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Poor Service
2021 Ram Big Horn Needs New EGR cooler and clean valve, and DPF filter full with 80,000 mil es on it??? Then Im quoted $3,700, and at pick up they request $3,900. I pick up the truck and drive to Durango, with less than 80 miles after TruWest Cortez services the truck, it goes into Regen mode and the service light comes on. Blake, the service Manager looks up the code, and says its probably the sensor, we cleaned it, but probably needs to be replaced and wants me to pay another $200 something dollars! On a sensor that should have been replaced in the first place. Then he says, Im trying to help you out, Im not going to charge any labor. Are you kidding me? Is this the way Ram does business or just the Ram/Chrysler in Cortez? Oh, by the way, I paid extra for the extended warranty that apparently doesnt cove anything. First and last Ram truck I ever buy. Going back to Ford.
