Rude customer service agent
I returned one product due to dissatisfaction. In my next order, I received a broken item that I requested a refund for.
The response I got was Since you've been dissatisfied more than once, we fully support your decision to shop elsewhere." Say what!
Wouldn't you be dissatisfied with a broken product? Extremely rude in my opinion.
User's recommendation: Shop somewhere else.
Rude and Presumptuous
I won a bottle of the Airelle Barrimatrix Age Defying Serum in a sweepstakes run by Truth in Aging. I was actually extremely pleased with the product and what it did for my skin.
I got on their website to leave a good review and saw that they let people apply to be product reviewers. With every intention of purchasing and trying other products that they put out, I applied for this and proceeded to comment on how much I loved the product and how I would love to review other products for them. I received a response from Marta telling me that I was not going to get anything else for free and I could buy their products for 10% off if I subscribe to their newsletter. I never asked for anything.
I praised their product and wanted to be a reviewer. She treated me with no regard or respect at all, and insinuated that I was just looking for a handout. I messaged her back explaining to her but I did not ask or want anything free of charge, that I had planned to buy products and had hoped to be reviewer. And that because of the way she treated me I would no longer use their products.
She didn't bother to respond with an apology or anything. I will never do business with this company again. It's a joke!
If this is the way they treat their customers I hope they are run out of business. There are a lot of companies that treat their customers with appreciation, not disrespect.
Socialist leaning establishment
Received an email celebrating “AOC” self avowed Socialist. Some don’t care but if you do, beware. Companies should really refrain from politics or at least realize that they take a risk.
Unprofessional
In 200 I submitted our best selling product for review, a super good anti-aging serum. It was formulated for DRY MATURE SAGGING skins.
Marta passed it off to a young, oily skinned younger woman who was so heavy she had no lines on her face.
Of course Marta gave a bad review because she took the word of her accomplice, a women who should never have been given my serum.
Skin changes when one matures and the ingredients were too rich for a younger and oilier complexion. Plus given the appearance in her photo, I dare say she did not have a healthy lifestyle, just guessing.
You do not build up a skin care business, remain #1 under "all natural product" in Google, and pull in a six figure income, without one penny on advertising, unless you have a good product.
Preferred solution: Take a better look at what is submitted, uless you are prejudice and only accept products that look commercial.
Truth In Aging Adverse Reaction Truth Vitality Lux System
I was given this device as a gift after several uses I noticed some redness and blotchy redness like freckles from a sunburn I also was getting these headaches behind my eyes that lasted for hours. I contacted the owner of the company and she refused to refund me for the device claiming she could not find the original transaction.
Marta the owner also deleted my Facebook comments regarding the problem and Blocked me from making contact with her threw Facebook so she definitely didn't want others to see it her claims of doing Unbiased Reviews is a Lie she spent years making a living in the media business and she also owns the company that makes the Truth in Vitality Lux Renew Device.
This device is is peddled threw HSN, Truth In Aging and her site on Ebay the reviews on HSN were less than favorable.I have to question her Honesty and Integrity. I feel that under the circumstances she would have just refunded me ..But She has done nothing to help me.
- Lack of concern over issue with product
Preferred solution: Full refund
No refund for eye cream
I purchased an eye cream called YBF Correct, by company called Truth In Aging. Product is $150.00, WOW is right.
They have a refund policy, return within 30 days. I used product for 6 days, I notified them for a return, it made my eyes worse. they stated because of the $20.00 discount I receive NO REFUND. SO what they do is tack a discount on there products so you can't return product.
They don't make that clear to you BEFORE YOU BUY THE PRODUCT, I felt mislead and that's how they keep the refunds down.
I think it's very bad business practice and will never buy from this company again.
