R.S. Andrews plumber was useless
- - The plumber replaced the toilet handle but it was the wrong part.
- - I bought and installed my own flushing arm and flapper and paid $59 for a $7 arm.
My R.S. Andrews plumber was almost totally useless.
He did replace the handle on the toilet tank, but it turned out not to be the correct one. He did not have the appropriate flapper for flushing.
Today, I purchased an adjustable flushing arm at Lowe's, and a Flushmaster flapper at Ace Hardware, and installed them myself.
I essentially paid Andrews $59 for replacing a $7 flush arm, which is now trash.
So if you have a problem that they can not fix, you risk paying the service call fee, anyway.
Preferred solution: Price reduction
