Executive chair

I purchased a Lazy Boy executive chair at Costco on August 18, 2019. I thought it sat funny but thought it was just me. I didn't do anything about it. My daughter-in-law was at my office and set it in my chair and she said it sat lopsided. We checked it out and could not find anything wrong. We got a level to check it out and found out it was not level and the right side sat lower than the left side. This is probably the reason why I have been having back problems. Is there some way you can help me fix this problem.

Bad quality of the product and customer service

Bought the office chair at Walmart for $200 CAD in Oct. But the chair is started making lots of noise and the gas lift is not working anymore. I called them to provide and option to replace the chair with a better version of a different chair. Called the customer service and the girls over the phone are very rude, and they said True innovations won't replace the chair.

Poor product even worse customer service

Purchased an office chair at Office Depot, price approximately $400, not cheap, for what I thought was a quality Serta chair .Arms started to bubble &;; tear prior to the warranty expiration. Called them , was told they would replace them, given a confirmation # approximate date to expect replacement. Date has passed & they do not respond to my calls or email. Very disappointed & unhappy My advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY & YOU WILL GET NO ASSISSTANCE FROM OFFICE DEPIT

Customer Service

I have sat on the phone for 2 hours without a response and filed 3 emails on their website without one response. They are a company to stay away from if you experience any product issues. My office chair was flawed and the seat cushion was horrible.

User's recommendation: Office Depot is a big supplier of their product.

Poor Customer Service

A caster broke on my La-Z-Boy office chair, which I bought from Staples. It is less than two years old and shouldn't break, but they are cheaply made or thin plastic - I'm probably lucky it lasted this long. I tried calling the customer service number and twice was on hold for over 30 minutes only to get a message saying they couldn't take my call right now, try again later. The third time I got a rep who was pleasant enough on the phone but since then, it's nothing but problems. She didn't know which caster I needed (even though I gave her the name and model number of the chair) and asked me to send pictures, which I did on 9/24. On 9/28, I got an email asking for my shipping address so that she could get me a final cost. I answered immediately (seriously, 7 minutes after I got her email) ... and waited. Nothing. No return emails. I emailed again on 10/2 asking if I could please get a cost to get them ordered, and on 10/5 I got an answer with the cost (didn't mention whether it was one wheel or all five, which I had asked about) and a snarky comment that I had to leave 24-48 business hours for an answer since she answered her emails in the other in which they are received. She either works part-time or gets a ton of emails, because her two emails have been 11 days apart. I'm sitting on a kitchen chair at my desk for 10-12 hours a day, all I want is to order a simple caster for my chair and who knows when I'll hear back. Plus, she said previously we'd have to arrange a time for her to call me because she couldn't take my credit card information until I was ready to order, so who knows when this order will actually happen! This is a simple part and should be available on the website, but the only part that is listed is a base - which doens't even come with casters - and has no prices listed and no way to order except (you guessed it) to call customer service. This is horrible customer service. La-Z-Boy USED to be a quality company. Now evidently they just don't care.

User's recommendation: RUN! If you ever need customer service, you will not get it.

I just want to be able to order my casters and get them shipped so I can use my chair again!

Poor customer service

You get a lot of BS from the customer service. I order a gas lift and as of today NO gas lift has been shipped. Talk to customer service you get the run around. The was purchase from Staples and Staples said you had to talk with True Innovations customer service. I get I need to look for the part on the internet. Could not recommend Staples or True Innovations.

Terrible

I bought the Serta Office chair Model:49987. The chair is so low I have to raise my arms to type on computer. I called the Customer support & they said I need to buy a longer gas lift & pay for it & shipping. I never knew that computer chairs would ever be so low.I don't know what desk it was made for.I can't take it back because my husband got rid of the box.There was nothing in paper work or on box that gave height of chair.The chair itself is comfortable but way too low.

Same problem here. They must save $0.50 a chair by making it 4" too short. I want to send them my chiropractor bill as it has caused severe misalignment with my back.

True Innovations Manager Chair

I purchased this chair so that I could enjoy my computer but instead I am sitting on the worst chair that I have ever sat in. I am 80 years old and my enjoyment is ruined because the chair is the most uncomfortable chair i have ever sat in. The seat cushion is the hardest. I am sitting on the edge and almost falling off because it is so hard and causes me to slide down. I purchased my chair from Costco and went back and tried the one that is on display and it is so much more comfortable. I thought with time it would get soft but unfortunately it hasen't. I wish i could take it back because I wasted $200.00 and have to live with it. I really don't know what can be done. Maybe a new seat cushion might help. The main problem with the chair is that the back is too far back (in addition to being too short). It is about as anti-agronomic as a chair could be.

I too have to sit on the edge with no back support.

It should not be advertised as an office or computer chair because it is not fit for this purpose. Maybe, for guests waiting it would be okay, as it is very comfortable to slouch back and recline a little, but NOT FOR WORK.
