They are a rip off

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This is one persons opinion but after reading some reviews I think my impressions are spot on. Save your money and time and purchase elsewhere, may I suggest eFloors.com.

The lousy customer service twits at TrueHardwoods dont want to know you if you are doing a small project or need a small order to finish a job. They have a minimum order size which is a BS policy, what does it matter if you are buying one box or many if you are paying for it as well as shipping..the answer is it shouldnt.

eFloors.com was extremely helpful, courteous and very well priced and I highly recommend them and when compared to these clueless half wits its a no brainer decision. AVOID TrueHardwoods, go where they appreciate your business and give you great value and service for your money.

Given the runaround for a month and still have no product or update

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered 2K worth of flooring on 11/12. I asked for an update a few weeks in and was told it'd be delivered by the end of Nov.

No update so on Dec 1 1st I ask for an update (via email) and got no reply. Texted and got a reply saying it'd be by the end of that week, then nothing, and now told it'd arrive to their warehouse Mon (12/7) and that I'd get an update then. Still nothing. No response to email and no tracking number.

I text and get a "not at work now" response.

Worried I was scammed of 2k. BUYER BEWARE!

BAD EXPERIENCE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I recently (Nov. 2016) had a terrible experience with this company.

i ordered 960 sq. ft. of flooring, for $5208.80. The product that was delivered was the wrong color.

(not their fault, I gave them the wrong sku#, given to me by Lowes'). I called repeatedly to request an exchange. At one point the salesman, Jose', who was terrific said he didn't think it would be a problem, but he had to check with his manager, John Holbert. I spoke with the manager once and he even checked to see if the product I needed was available, He confirmed that it was and he would check with the supplier in Md.

or De (?) I called again. The manager answered the phone,"Hi, this is John." When I gave my name he transferred me to his voicemail. I left a message and he never called me back. I called again, the manager was off, and asked for him to be texted.

The salesperson called me back and said the manager (John) said nothing could be done.

Anyone want to buy 32 cartons of Natural Red Oak Mullican flooring? Do not do business with this drop and ship operation.

Never ceases to amaze me how people will order something get what they ordered on time and be unhappy with the vendor. Some products should be purchased not on line but rather face to face with someone that's professional enough to verify the purchase. Unfortunately that's what you get with online vendors, they take an order and deliver material if you expect more well you get what you pay for.

Awesome Company

My experience with Truehardwoods.com was tremendous. They are honest, courteous, and very knowledgeable.

The best part is the prices. I shopped everywhere and they had the best. My hardwood arrived in a very timely manner. The salesman John, Dustin, and Jordan are very professional and far superior to the other online customers I dealt with.

They were also much more knowledgeable than the sales person in my local flooring store. The prices and service are also superior to the big box stores.

I wish all my shopping experiences were this great. I saved enough money to do another project in my house.

FIVE STAR *****

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I too was skeptical, as I am with anyone on the internet. FANTASTIC is all that I can say.

I ordered (52) cases of Versini Consenza Eucalyptus 5" x 1/2" and other assorted pieces. I dealt with Dustin. Extremely professional, kept all promises, shipped and delivered when they said. In addition all of my (52) cases were the same batch number.

So, no concern as to seconds or mismarked dye lots. My professional installer was totally blown away with the quality of the materials and the manner in which they were shipped and protected. These people are real, have a job-site building and can be seen at anytime.

They all speak real good Southern English. AND the price was simply outstanding.

True Hardwood Anderson Virginia Vintage Heritage Maple first quality????

I recently purchased Anderson Virginia Vintage Heritage Maple flooring from True Hardwoods because they assurred me that they only sell first quality products. I have seen this flooring installed and it looks great, unfortunately, mine does not.

After installing about 1/3 of the "good flooring" the remaining boxes started to have boards with heavy, dark stain on the ends which created an even heavier, dark stripe once the boards were joined together. Rather than the beautiful floor I have seen, mine has dark stripes at the joints. I was going for rustic, not pinstripe! Furthermore, many of the boxes did not contain a mixture of random lengths.

Instead, they were filled with mostly 24" long boards. I contacted True Hardwoods and sent them photos of the flooring. They said they can't control production and that their product was first quality. They did not stand behind the product they sold or offer any compensation.

Beware if you are interested in this flooring or planning to purchase from True Hardwood. My floor does not look like the floors I have seen using this product, and quite frankly was a waste of money. Needless to say I am disappointed with the flooring.

Instead of admiring my flooring, I am looking for large area rugs to cover them up. Maybe True Hardwoods could chip in on those!

Another unfortunate circumstance through no fault of the vendor, The Customer assumed they were getting one thing and their expectations were not met, it happens quite frequently in the flooring business. this is a product category that you really need to consider buying at a brick and mortar store where you can be advised by a professional and see the product.

True Hardwoods are very honest and good people. They do not sale anything but first quality, someone is

telling lies on them.

This is John Holbert, Operations Manager of True Hardwoods. I'd be more than happy to speak with you about this issue in depth.

I deal with all issues and this one doesn't seem familiar at all.

And just to inform those out there, we only sell first quality and order through our distributor when customers place their orders. Also, Andersons flooring comes just like this "so-called customer" says. You may receive 75% of the cartons full length, and all the rest be random length.

This is how most all engineered products come from various manufacturers, not just Anderson.

And most importantly, never do what this person did, and choose your flooring based upon the appearance of someone else's. The other persons floor could have been 10 years old, and since wood is a product of nature, it changes.

Anonymous? If this is true than why did you hide your name this post is complete ***.

Hate to side with the manufacture....but they are correct....staining is normally random and controlled by the production process and is a lot issue and as far as the random width issue....as long as they are not ALL 24"....then technically its random....not all floors will look the same and should not....your is unique...

True Hardwoods - Hardwood Flooring on time delivery.

True Hardwoods gave it to me straight up front. I was a little reluctant to purchase when they where in Georgia and I am in California especialy when they said it would be 2-3 weeks delivery time on my new hardwood floors.

After looking at all of my options and pricing I decided to give them a shot. The flooring arrived and was exactly what I ordered and it got here in 9 days.

I was surprised the delivery got here early, but at least they were honest and told 2-3 weeks up front. I would definitely use TrueHardwoods.com again if we decide to do another hardwood floor in the future.

lol they are bankrupt and out of business now.

Just an FYI to the poster, because of the nature of pissedconsumers site, even though you submitted a positive review of the company, it shows up on the site and in search engines as a negative knock against the company. I'd save your positive praise for other review sites out there.

I purchased BR-111 engineered flooring from True Hardwoods and was extremely happy. There was a mix up in shipping so the wood showed up a little late but it was not a problem for me.

The support they provided to me about installation was very helpful, more than I expected. I would (and will be) purchase from True Hardwoods in the future and will recommend them to my friends.

I ordered my hardwood flooring from TrueHardwoods and was extremely pleased with the way the process was handled. First, they coordinated with the manufacturer to get my order shipped on an expedited basis and the wood flooring was delivered very expeditiously.

During the installation of the wood flooring, I personally inspected the pieces of the delivered material and kept track of the reject rate. The manufacturer’s policy called for a typical 5 perecnt reject rate, however, I was experiencing more than 5 percent which meant that I would need an extra 2 boxes. I called the manufacturer and was told that I had to go through TrueHardwoods, which I finally did. Justin of TrueHardwoods again coordinated with the manufacturer and 2 boxes were shipped overnight FedEx at no expense to me and my floors were completed without delay. I highly recommend purchasing your flooring from TrueHardwoods. I give them an A+ rating. :)
