Unprofessional, lazy, rude staff

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Don't waste your time with this office. The staff at this office are lazy, rude and unprofessional.

After changing insurance in the middle of my son's treatment, the woman who does the billing REFUSED to follow up with my new insurance company. I had her file and re-file claims 3 times . I approached her in the office asking if we could do a 3 way call with the insurance company so we could figure out what the issue was, and she yelled at me in front of a roomful of patients stating that " she didn't have time for this". So, I stepped out into the hallway, called the insurance company, figured things out (this was the 4th time I had contacted said insurance co)and while the insurance associate had me on hold, he called the billing office and talked the billing woman through the claim form.

It turns out she was filling the claim out incorrectly. Well, 2 months later, I get a nasty letter from billing stating that they have not received payment and I need to pay them $500 + . I called insurance AGAIN, the billing dept still got it wrong. I think I deserve a discount for doing her job.

Oh yes, did I mention that I am an R.N.

and have worked in Dr offices? Way to go, Troy Ortho- don't bother advocating for your patients!

Rude, Unprofessional, staff refuses to do their job

My son is seen by Dr. Reitz and Dr.

Troy, orthodontists at the Pine Bridge Commons. As of yet the only complaints I have with the doctors is their inability to hire people who will work or reprimand their staff for their laziness. You will be told when to bring your child in to see the doctor--the receptionist will not bother to look through the appointment book for an opening on a morning that you can make it. She will tell you and that is it --take it or leave it.

If important information needs faxed to your dentist---forget it--they do not fax anything. They will lie to you and tell you they did, but, when you arrive at the dentist's office to have a tooth or teeth extracted they cannot do it because the order was not faxed---and guess what, no one will pick up the phone at Dr. Reitz and Troy's office. So, you need to reschedule and have you son upset for another week waiting to have his teeth pulled.

Then, when the bionater they made is causing a sore in his mouth they refuse to make an appointment for him and tell you to go see the dentist. We switched to Dr Reitz and Troy because they were closer than Dr.

Sassouni our old ortho--Worest move I've made in years. Stay far away from this office--not worth it.

I was looking for the phone number for the office and saw this review and also have to agree that this is the furthest thing in the planet from my experince. They are beyond easy to schedule and work with.

No matter what time I show up at the office they are always ready for me.

They take me early, the take me late, they never make me feel anything less the extremly important to them. The staff is some of the nicest people I have ever met- I am so happy I found their office by chance.

Please reread my comment. I believe I can have a "bad day" but after so many, many problems on different days with different things I know it is not me.

My mother-in-law had problems and once I started asking around I easily found several other moms who spoke poorly of the staff. I felt others should be warned.

You are the first person I have heard of having a good experience with them. I wish you lots of luck.

While searching for Dr. Reitz and Dr.

Troy's website, I happened upon this review and couldn't help but comment on how much I disagree. Maybe you were having a bad day, but this could not be further from the truth. My child has been seen in this office for two years and I am now starting my second child. The doctor's and staff have been nothing but kind, caring, helpful, and friendly.

They always make us feel comfortable and explain everything thoroughly. We were referred to this office by many friends who also bring their children to this office. I would recommend Dr.

Reitz and Dr. Troy to everyone because they truly care about their patients!
