Purcahsed Cars from Trissl Sports Cars

Update by user Sep 30, 2019

As stated in my other comments. Look what you find when you google.

Trissl and his Sales Managers name. They look trust worthy. makes me even more believe in my stance with Jason.

Looks like alot of Fraud and Broken Business Contracts. https://dockets.justia.com/docket/alabama/alndce/3:2013cv01470/148835https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/1520****/Darby_et_al_v_Darby,_Jr

I hate to read that this Thomas guy goes on here talking bad about Jason. I have had only good experiences with Jason Schurfeld formally of Trissl Sports Cars. He has only gave me 1st class service and for his ex Partner to bash him and talk bad about him is nothing a so called Businessman should do. I'm applaud and will no longer ever do business with them. After reading his comments I did a little research and called around the Porsche community. And for truth be know. Jason is having to Sue Trissl Sports Cars and Thomas Trissl for his share of the business. Sad what greed does. Guess we will have to follow this case and see where it goes. God Speed Jason...

Jason Schurfeld in deed never has been a owner or part owner of Trissl Sports Cars and is no longer affiliated with our company. Our Sales Manager Elton Darby is a delight to work with and we are happy to serve all your Porsche needs at any time. Thomas Trissl...

Glad we are no longer associated with Mr Jason Schurfeld!

Deceitful

I'm sorry to hear about the deceit, really sucks. Whenever I've called them about a Porsche, the owner Jason is always VERY VAGUE !!! Says that he has so many cars he just can't tell me anything. It's as if he doesn't even work there but he happens to be the owner. He is nothing more than your stereotypical used car salesman & I would never buy anything from him as I've come across others here in the US with similar experiences. He wont last as Porsche people are very astute and he's already creating a big negative for himself. I would contact Manheim Auctions and report him as a stolen car is just that & he is liable for his actions. Best of luck !

To play devils advocate, I'm a local and know both parties of Trissl Sports Cars (Thomas & Jason) As well of Elton Darby Jr. However, Jason was known around town as one of the co-owners of the company.

Trissl can deny it but after looking into their lawsuit. Schurfeld VS Trissl. There is to much evidence that proves Jason is one of the owners. Most all the locals know this, as Thomas doesn't have the best reputation.

If you do some research, you can see that Trissl and Darby don't have the best track records See links below. https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/1520****/Darby_et_al_v_Darby,_Jr https://dockets.justia.com/docket/alabama/alndce/3:2013cv01470/148835

As some one that has purchased a car from Jason of Trissl Sports Cars. I find @MerryCar891 comments one sided, from what I read online news articles, seems he was a partner.

Just as the trissl guy says "he partnered with Jason". Also every year at Pebble Beach or Amelia Island Jason was the only person we have ever met from Trissl Sports Cars. Seems to me a one man Show. With little home work someone can see the Trissl guy and this Elton guy that @MerryCar891 talks about don't seem to be too trust worthy as businessmen.

As both were sued for Fraud. https://dockets.justia.com/docket/alabama/alndce/3:2013cv01470/148835 https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/1520****/Darby_et_al_v_Darby,_Jr

Jason Schurfeld is no longer part of Trissl Sports Cars, was never an owner, and no longer represents Trissl Sports Cars on any level.

Trissl Sports Cars sold me a stolen vin switched car

I bought a car from this Alabama dealer in May 2015, which was represented as a 2 owner 1965 Porsche 911. The dealer portay themselves as experts in early Porsches. Check out their website. When the car was delivered here to the UK, it turned out to be a 1967 car that had been vin switched with the identity of a 1965 car. The metal vin plate from a 1965 car had been welded into where the original vin plate had been cut out and other vin numbers and plates had been swapped or removed and replaced. Icing on the cake, I subsequently discovered, was that the 1967 car is still registered as stolen! I then tried to enter into a dialogue with Trissl Sports Cars to get them to rescind the deal and take the (stolen) car back, but they constantly refused to try and sort the mess out. Everything the dealer told about the car has turned out to be a pack of lies. Dealer as at (January 2017) refuses to take car back and refund my money.
