Well I purchased a lock and I put it on my mixer which is a concrete mixing machine I stuck it around the wheel so no one can steal my machine at the place and I misplaced the key and now I cannot get the lock off of the tire so I am not able to move the mixing machine called a company and there is no way they can help me they said they informed me I need to cut it off I paid a lot of money for the lock and do not want to have to cut it off I would appreciate if they could just help me out somehow and get me a replacement key

User's recommendation: My recommendation to future customers is don’t ever lose your key because the company will not help you get your lock off of whatever it’s on so take a picture of your key or write down the key code off of the key which they don’t tell you that in any of the instructions that they give you.

Life time warranty

Have a thp xl puck lock that i tried over the winter brand new on the trailer. Came spring to my surprise it rusted solid. Tried good old wd40 on it but broke a key in it. Found out that it has lifetime warranty but wait if the lock rusts warranty is not covered, you didn't oil the lock so you are not covered. Yeah the lifetime warranty is just a gimme to buy their product leave you high and dry with any excuse not to cover your lost. Guess I visit my local locksmith to get it off. So beware just because it says lifetime on it if you don't apply oil warranty void.

Trimax Locks: Bad customer service experience, ethical questions

I just had a bad customer service experience with a male customer service rep at Trimax Locks and searched to see if I am maybe not the only one. Looks like I may indeed not be the only one. I can see how some employees might be unreasonable and try to blame their management for their own problems - I've seen that before. But this business owner, Phil Wyers should not be posting items about his previous employees on an internet site - it is not professional and seems defamatory. He tells the world that he fired a guy for sexual harassment - I am definitely opposed to sexual harassment and support firing someone who does it; but no employer should announce that to the whole world. Phil Wyers also gives out this former employee's home address which is incredibly unethical. Additional immature, unethical, and defamatory statements Mr. Wyers makes public include "he is unable to get something as simple as a valid driver’s license and function as a normal working adult", "he seemed desperate", he "may have multiple warrants for his arrest in multiple states", "unable to function as a law abiding adult or manage his own life at the late age of 28+ years", "His weak physical stature ruled out any demanding physical labor", "Jay Hanna’s dysfunction runs far deeper than I am able to fully explain here". Phil Wyers: This is not ethical behavior. You should hold yourself to a much higher standard than any person you fired. You do set the standard for your company.

Wow!

I tend to believe the employee, not the owner. Sounds like a typical Mom and Pop shop that has no clue about labor laws or IRS standards and differences between employees and contractors. The owner goes on and on -- on a website. Any credible business owner would just handle it through regular legal means IF he has a leg to stand on. Then the owner gives the address of his former employee! Wow. What a ***.

Jay Hanna worked for my company and was fired for the same reasons. Bad news! Stay clear of this guy/girl.

Nice comment Jarrad D, Hanna, Jay Hanna. keep abusing and insulting women.

No wonder the owner of TRIMAX fired you!

You don't do so well standing up to real men.

Are you still running from the law you coward???

First of all, the former employee was fired for sexually harassing other employees. Second of all, I now have his job (for the last 10 months) and have absolutely no complaints about the company, its owner, or the office manager.

Perhaps this website should check the veracity of the "consumer" complaints before posting a disgruntled former employee's rant.

Bicycle lock

Bought two Trimax bicycle locks Model #MAG10SC attempted to set my own combination on to the locks as described in the directions, one lock worked, but the other lock failed. I made many attempts none worked. I contacted Trimax, they sent a warranty form to fill out and said the lock would be replaced upon receipt back of the form. I returned the form via email per their request, nothing happened. I resent the warranty form again, still nothing. No correspondence from them since, guess their warranty is non-existent. Suggest the purchase of a different brand of bicycle lock.
