Eric McCabe has a job at an ethical company as a machinist.

Original review updated by user Feb 02, 2023
My son, Eric McCabe got his 1st machinist job at Trimax Locks on November 28th 2022. He was hired by the manager of the shop, Austin Muck for the night shift, 10 pm - 6 am. He spent the next 2 weeks training during the day shift. He was really enjoying the job and learning a lot. Eric was supposed to start his regular shift on Sunday December 11th at 10:00 p.m. Eric was telling me and his father all about it. When he explained that he will be the ONLY person there during that shift, his father, a MASTER MACHINIST with over 40 years of experience told him that would be a violation of OSHA policy for safety reasons. My son immediately contacted Austin Muck and asked if it was legal for him to work alone . Austin told him to take a few weeks off until they could find another employee to work with him at night. My son asked if he could come to work during the day shift so that he could keep on learning. He was told no. After 2.5 weeks, they fired Eric. He asked for a letter of discharge so that he could file for food stamps, they refused to provide it. He is still waiting for his W2 to file taxes. By law they must have it out by the end of February, but this company does not follow the law so who knows if that will happen.

Well I purchased a lock and I put it on my mixer which is a concrete mixing machine I stuck it around the wheel so no one can steal my machine at the place and I misplaced the key and now I cannot get the lock off of the tire so I am not able to move the mixing machine called a company and there is no way they can help me they said they informed me I need to cut it off I paid a lot of money for the lock and do not want to have to cut it off I would appreciate if they could just help me out somehow and get me a replacement key

User's recommendation: My recommendation to future customers is don’t ever lose your key because the company will not help you get your lock off of whatever it’s on so take a picture of your key or write down the key code off of the key which they don’t tell you that in any of the instructions that they give you.
