Amount of trucks available

Hello Good people to work with as a freight agent and they have great rates when I call in to get a quote. However, they have great rates but never have a truck available for the rate provided. I call the rates desk, they provide a great rate to go with, but I have learned to never tell the customer until I found out if in fact they have a truck to haul it. I can say I have quoted with them the last 4 months and never moved a load with them because they have no trucks in the area. When they do have a truck and I go back to the customer to see if they want to go with the rate, Tri-state never gives me time to get the customer to commit before they are looking to pull the truck away.

Reason of review
Poor customer service

I was a truck driver for Dennis Harriman and Brenda Williams leased to Tri-State Expedited Services

Dennis Harriman and his girlfriend Brenda Williams own 5 straight trucks leased to Tri-State Expeditors out of Millbury, Ohio and I was a driver for them. They never paid me nor did I receive an explanation or pay stub. They also kept hiring brand new drivers out of truck driving schools to run with me. Brenda also likes to move the drivers around from one truck to another. She decides who you work and run with, not you! If you wind up in dead area they won't let you move to a better area. Stay away from these people! They'll cheat you out of your money!!

My wife and I drove for Zero Transportation, contractor to Tri-State Expedited Service. Dispatch was on our butts all the time claiming we were running late.

We were never late. We always arrived early or on time. Dispatch was so rude with us that we eventually resigned.

Watch out for this outfit. You'll be sorry too!

All you contract drivers must realize driving for an owner at a percentage is just as bad if not worse than the horror stories you read about leasing the same principal applys THese companies that put trucks on do not do not have pay guide lines so the owners can get away with anything they want they just keep throughing drivers in these trucks which reflects badly on the company but none seem to mind
