Why do Trentbarton keep cancelling 33 bus and the 34 !!? Keeps being randomly cancelled customers left stranded when trying to get to work and home again. It really isnt good enough

I had two very contrasting journeys today (13 January) on the Harlequin Service - HeathertonVillage/LIttleover/Derby City Centre. The first, the 10:43 am from Fieldfare Court, now a temporary bus stop due to roadworks.

I arrived at the stop on time and saw the bus stopped at the red traffic light near the stop. I waved at the driver who gestured back but ignore my pleas and proceeded to drive off at speed ! A few more seconds of his time to pick me up would have meant all the world to me. In contrast, I commend the friendly attitude and careful driving of the young driver of the 12:10 pm bus from Gower Street, who went out of his way to help a disabled passenger in a wheelchair and met all his passengers with a smile and a friendly greeting.

If all your drivers were like him (long hair with glasses) no-one would complain !

The first driver cleartly needs retraining. Thanks for listening...Stephen Goldstone

I think you should take the writing off the derby flyer buses that says every 15 minutes. I waited this morning for over 3/4 of an hour for one. This service is shocking and gets worse every day.

Missing buses

The Ilkeston flyer as become a joke, buses are late or missing or cancelled. Gets to Derby bus station & the queue for the Ilkeston flyer is passed the shop, bus takes as many passengers as hes allowed, so a queue of passengers is left waiting for the next bus & we are waiting for the next bus which is due & what happens next is due bus as gone to the next bus, its become a joke, other buses manage to come on time, in fact skylink buses come more times than you. Rude bus driver on H1

The H1 came 15 minutes late and the driver seemed irritated. The passengers all stood up as we reached Alfreton centre but he didnt stop. Most of the customers were elderly & even though someone has pressed the stop button he went past the stop. He then started ranting at everyone which was totally unacceptable. Bus arrived in Alfreton at 9:55am

Terrible bus service

I have gotten these buses twice a day for three months to commute. Why do I never see a bus arrive on time? The drivers are filled with nothing but excuses, I am almost next to the start of the line and they're consistently late somehow. There's like one nice driver on the route. If you call them out on why they're late they just give some rubbish excuses. Rude drivers and inconsistent service. Wish NCT went further out to hucknall cus I would switch any day.

Hi, My Grandson is continually being charged £2.00 with a Beeline Card instead of £1.50 on your Allestree Route in Derby ( I assume He isn't the only one ), even after 2 phone calls to your head office, On the First one my Daughter-in-Law, Emma, spoke to James or as He said 007 L.O.L., Emma was given an assurance that this scheme began on 1st of November and all drivers will be made aware but the next day it happened AGAIN, She contacted your office a second time and spoke to a Female colleague on that occasion who said it needs to be used in conjunction with a Mango Card, This throws up some issues 1. What is the point of having a Beeline Card at all assuming this advice is accurate ? 2. What if a child is not in possession of a phone ? 3. What if a child does have a phone but it's an older type that does not use apps., 4. There is no mention of a Mango Card in your Advert so if what the lady said is to be believed that is Confusing and Dishonest, It goes without saying that this issue remains unresolved clearly as a result of poor communication in your organisation, So poor in fact that The promise that James made has not been adhered to either and makes Him unworthy of His 007 Label as His mission has failed, You need a meeting to resolve this because if James has communicated this by E-Mail or text as with everything these day's that is entirely dependent on being read, Whatever happened to good old group comms., ? Chaotic Mickleover Service today. 08th November

Good evening Today I tried to travel in to Derby at around 11.00, from Kings Drive, Littleover. 2 buses came past towards Mickleover within 150 yds of each other, followed by another about 5 minutes later. Another 5 minutes later a 4th bus...travelling towards Mickleover appeared. NONE into Derby. We caught The Villager. This is inexplicable to the customer. What on earth are your logistics explanations for such an occurrence? The Mickleover used to be a fantadtic & reliable route...it isnt any longer. Why? Thanks for your observations. No care for customers at all , Ilkeston to Derby not fit for purpose , full bus driving past people who are trying to get to work. JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Put another bus on to replace the Spondon flyer that you took off.

33 and 35 bus

After putting in my complaint I did receive an email from Trent Barton. To be honest I thought the reasons given for 33 and 34 buses that didn’t turn up excuse.

Bus broke down traffic etc. These buses continue to be late or don’t turn up at all.

Frustrating when you’ve been at work and just want to get home. I did ask why an extra bus couldn’t be put on from Ilkeston to Heanor answer there’s not enough customers to warrant putting on an extra bus.

I just wondered why the 33 bus keeps getting cancelled or at least 3O mins late from Ilkeston. Same goes for the 34. I work at Tesco so I leave at 4.45 for the 5.02 bus yesterday it was over 30 mins late today it was cancelled I had to wait over an hour for the next bus. Plenty of Ilkeston flyers only 2 buses to Heanor. Helen

Buses not turning up!!

This morning I wanted for the Blue Connect 6:55 bus which didn't turn up, another person waiting said its the 3rd time this week this bus hasn't turned up!! I was taking the bus into Hucknall to then catch the 3s bus to the City Hospital to arrive at work for 8:00am , because the Blue connect bus didn't arrive I walked into Hucknall which took me 25 minutes at no time did a Blue connect bus pass me, on arriving at the Bus stop on Annesley Road the sign said 3B due at 7:30 , it didn't arrive, the sign said 3A due at 7:40 it didn't arrive, 3C due at 7:50 it didn't arrive, the sign then said 3B due at 8:00 am by some miracle this bus did arrive, making myself and lots of other passengers late for work, everyone on the bus was complaining about this abysmal service, it is not acceptable and the stress caused by buses not turning up is immense, please can someone please, please sort out this problem, if this is happening on a regular basis it should be made a priority for your business, it really is not acceptable.
