I have lost a train and I had a refundable ticket allowing me to book the one that was supposed to leave later. In ticket office I asked for the next train and the sales man gave me the ticket for the following day.
That was in Rome Termini station where passengers are not allowed to enter in the safe zone unless they possess a valid ticket for a train that is leaving not later than 45 minutes.
Trenitalia allows me the enter and they shall have not done this because my ticket was for the following day and I was not aware of this: I thought to have the ticket for the same day. On the train the controller fines me 50 Euro because my ticket is not valid.
This company has authentic criminal top management: not only they instruct their subordinates to scam their own customers but they only purposely insert loopholes in their safety control to allow their scams to work on.
I will show this to the EU hoping they will fine them for the loopholes they left on their safety controls making them responsible for all robberies happened on Rome Termini railway station and punish them using against them the same severity Trenitalia applies to its own customers that is the maximum of penalty.

Dear Trenitalia,
I am writing this message to let you know of my dissatisfaction with the refund.
I bought train tickets:
One from Lyon to Milan 09/22/2023 for one person and two tickets from Milan to Lyon 09/24/2023 for two. Unfortunately, due to rockfalls on the roads in Maurienne, traffic was interrupted, and the letter indicated the possibility of a 100% refund.
Immediately after receiving the letter, I sent a request for a refund, filled out the form, but a problem arose and after a while I went to the office at the Lyon Part-Dieu train station, where I also filled out the form manually and received copies.
So I would like to know the status of my refund since six months have passed and I have not received anything and why.

I have airteackets From Georgia (kutaisi airport)to Rome on 5of April but this morning Wizzair company changed my dates and i will be in Rome on 6 of April. I,also have booked 4 train teackets with trenitalia From Rome to Florence.
I know that i have not changable teackets, but please pay attantion that it's not my fault that company changed the dats. 152 euros are for about 400 Gels in Georgian currency so this is great demmage for me.
Maybe you can allow me to change my teackets on 7 April the same time. Please, help me

I purchased a ticket for 4 people at Venice Mestre Station from the machine. The screen clearly showed price to be paid for 4 tickets...
1.45 euros each for a total of 5.8 euros. mu cousin put her credit card in, machine said remove card, then machine said printing "ticket".Only one piece of paper came out which I assumed was for all 4 tickets. I just looked at the scan code and we ran to catch the 1;36 train to Venice S.L. on Wednesday 28th Feb.
Just as we were arriving at the station, a man claiming to be a conductor asked for our tickets. I( gave him the paper and he said this is only one ticket where are the rest. Well, there were no rest of tickets, only one piece of paper came out of the machine. He was rude, argumentative, yelling at us and downright nasty.
he should be fired. He would not listen to any explanation, he would not allow me to talk and charged us 132 euros. We are tourists to Italy and had no intention of cheating the system. On our return that night we went through the same procedure, but this time the machine said printing 1 of 4, then 2 of 4 then 3 of 4 and 4 of 4.
Clearly the machine in Mestre malfunction and only printed one piece of paper. How am i supposed to know that.it was not working properly. I should have called the police to deal with this disagreeable man but we were intimidated by him. I want my money back.
Its not our fault your machine was. not working properly. I explained this to people in ticket office in Venice S.L and they said machine made a mistake and we should not have been penalized. You have the date, time of the train and departure and arrival stations in this email.
You should know who this rude man was. Trian number 16781. I would think Italy would be a little forgiving to visitor. I am 79 years old, my friend 812 and my 2 cousins 63 and 60.

I go to Italy almost every year and purchased tickets from Trentalia on line but this year every time I try it says that I dont permission to access website on my server

Welcome, i was going by train REG 20111, todays morning from Roma Termini Station to Campanelle, after i came out from the train, i realized i left my sinter coat inside, with phone charger in pocket, o would like to find some way to get it back. I bought two train tickets online in Trenitalia that I could not use due to a strike that was happening in the train station. Due to this strike, I could not get the train in Bergamo because all of them were cancelled, so I had to come back to the airport and pay 15 for a taxi and from Bergamo airport, 6 for a bus (3 each person) to get to Milan.
In Milan Central station I had to buy two more tickets, that costed more that the ones I had bought before (I had paid 91 for two tickets before, and now I paid 122).
In the end I spent much more money that I was expecting, being 52 more due to the inconvenience, and also I was two hours late to get to Florence and lost my reservation in a restaurant. I requested for the refund of the 91 train tickets I could not use and the 52 of inconvenience I had to spend due to this issue and I have been waiting for 37 days already without any kind of deadline or response regarding the refund other than I have to be patient.

I bought two train tickets I couldnt take due to the strike that was happening in the train station I was supposed to get the train. I couldnt get this train in Bergamo because all of them were cancelled and because of that I needed to come back to the airport and pay 15 for a taxi and pay for a bus 6 to get to Milan (two tickets, 3 each person).

So when we were in pisa we decided to do to Monterosso for the day on the way back we had to get a train that went to La Spezia Centrale, when doing this we got a ticket for the 15:20 train, the train showed up with the name of where we were going and bang on 15:20 once we sat down, about 2 minutes before the ticket woman came telling us that we were on the wrong train because apparently the train we were on was 15 minutes late to arrive at the station, the woman then told us that we had to pay for a new ticket which was meant to be 8.50 but then informed us that we had to pay 117 in fines as we didnt have the correct ticket, I totally disagree with this as we had a ticket for the other train that we thought was this train, we had validated it as well so to me this was the correct train as it came into the station bang on 15:20 and bad then name of the station on the side of it. I hope we can solve this issue and I look forward to hearing from yous, thank you

Completely silence!Trenitalias customer service is a disgrace!Worst company I have ever dealt with regarding service and help.
I am writing from Sweden trying to help my son getting his mobile phone back. It is a black Samsung S10 that was lost between Pisa and Livorno last Sunday (30st of June) at 1745-**** with Trenitalia RV4137.
He has an Interrail ticket so no local tickets was used.
Yesterday we called my sons phone and on of TrenItalias operators (conduttore) at a train answered in the phone. She told us that she should hand it in to Lost and Found in Roma and she also took my mobile phone number as reference (+467********). She informed us that someone will call us during the evening and agree how to deliver my sons phone to us. We have not heard anything so far.
We are calling your Customer Service number 00 39 0* ***** ** frequently, sometimes we get help (which bring us hope) and sometimes the operators do not help us at all and advise us to visit a train station which is impossible from Sweden.
What should we do? Where is our phone? We know for a fact that a female operator within Trenitalia had the phone in her hand yesterday! Tomorrow our son is leaving Florence and we hoped to get his phone back before that.
We do not believe that anymore!
Your operators at the help line either say someone will call us, which they don´t or they tell us they can not help!
PLEASE HELP US, We really want this phone back. You know how important a phone is today!
Who can we call at lost and found in Roma to help us locate the phone and then send it to us (ing English)?
We are so frustrated because no whan calls back even if they said they would!

Been trying for 3 days to contact any one of the Trenitalia numbers listed for Customer Assistance but no one ever replies - not even for the number for passengers with limited mobility.
I am trying to fix a ticket change for a train journey between Milan and Zurich with a change at Como S. Giovanni. I changed the first part online but the corresponding second part has remained unchanged.
I am trying to contact Trenitalia for assistance, but there is none.
User's recommendation: When booking with Trenitalia do NOT make a mistake otherwise you will pay for it.
