Nissan dealer service center no satisfaction on recall part replacement

I have a Nissan Xterra that was recalled because of a faulty gas sensor. It reads empty when the tank is half full. Has been replaced by the dealer service center twice and both 'new' parts were also defective. Cannot get any satisfaction. Service center wants us to drop off vehicle, then when they take it into a bay to hook up to diagnostics, it works fine. Have parked vehicle when gauge was malfunctioning and left running, brought service manager out to verify that it was malfunctioning, then left the vehicle there for repair. They took it in, hooked it up, and said it worked fine.
