Deceptive business practice
- - Contract lasts 3 generations.
- - They claim to own many parks; reviewer says few or none.
- - Rules change; nightly fees apply; some parks drop out.
Yes I contacted TRA. Found out supposedly we signed something called a ‘3 generation contract’ which not only obligates me and wife for life but obligates our children and then our grandchildren.
They failed to reveal this in the presentation otherwise we would never have agreed to it.
The only way out of this is to buy out for $3500.00. Anyone attending a presentation with these unscrupulous BASTARDS should have their lawyer with them.
They offered to let us buy out for $3500 which would fall to our children and grandchildren as well. Number2, they lead you to believe they OWN all these multiple RV parks all over the country when in fact they own very few if ANY! Number 3, the parks change the rules whenever, such as we are no longer a free Coast to Coast park but now it cost $10, $15, $20 per nite with your membership. Or Number 4, the RV parks drop out of the Coast to Coast program altogether because as I stated before Im not sure if they OWN any parks at all.
This has become a living nightmare. Ill sum it up by saying C to C and T R of A are a fast talking shyster outfit and if you are ever approached by them turn and RUN LIKE ***
- Deception
Preferred solution: Out
User's recommendation: DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH C to C or T R of America!

I don’t know any of their operational specifics, but any contract you/spouse sign can never carry over to you children/grandchildren. The only people responsible for any of your debt are ones that signed a contract with you, or jointly own an asset or financial account.
