Hi my name is Maura Canavan with Travel Professionals International. I guess at this time I'm trying to understand your logic.

I have a group of 16-20 golfers going to VRA April 02-09 2022. One of the group called "Sell Off Vacations" to be given a rate of $1279 each. I sent my request yesterday for an instant quote but had to sit on the phone for a couple of hours this morning before I got through to groups. I explained the situation and on the phone I was given a quote of $1155 net plus $444.

Then I got the official quote by email. NET was $1038 Tax $390 Total pp $1328. I called the group contact with extension, left a message but didn't get a return call. I'm trying to understand how I can compete with Sell Off Vacations and really, its difficult to support you when a consumer can do better than a travel agent.

This is urgent and hopefully it reaches Customer Services and at least I can tell my clients why they do better booking their own flight OR WHY THEY SHOULD USE A TRAVEL AGENT. It's impossible to reach you by phone so hopefully this does not go to the bottom of a basket and sit for days.

I am asking you treat this as urgent and advise me how I can move forward and beat a consumer with pricing. Thank you Maura

Travel Proffessional International charged us $1800.00 Cancellation fee when we Found the EXACT same family vacation thru a different supplier for HALF the price!! They didn't even try come up with a reasonable solution!

Their customer service was very unproffessional!! I have been booking vacations for us for over 25 years and this was, by far, the most painful experience yet! Even after paying the cancellation fee, we rebooked(exact same vacation) with a different supplier and still saved $2000.00!

I can now see why TPI advertises on their website that their agents get"best commission rates in the industry". Keep ripping people off like this and I guess commission should be good!!
