A Bunch of Liars
They make promises they cannot keep. Lie about the services they provide.
They lie about charges and fees. They won't return phone calls or emails. Then they say they tried to reach you.
They say their software is compatible with our companies' services and then say I guess we're not compatible. They say you can cancel without charges or fees and then charge you to cancel.
User's recommendation: Do not us this company! They're just as bad as phone scammers!
Liars, and harassers of small businesses
These sales reps continuously called our business for over a year, after being told no many times, continued to harass us for their business. They tell you they can low ball your processing, however, they lie about other companies to make their sales pitches.
They are extremely pushy, and make you feel bad if you don’t use them. One even stooping as low as saying “you don’t care about your business enough”. Unbelievably poor tactics. Horrible sales conduct, and unprofessional.
Stop harassing small businesses to make a dollar. No means no.

Unoprofessional and shady business proctice.
Beware TRANSNATIONAL PAYMENTS merchant service, they make you sign a long-term contract, specified in term and condition that they do not disclose to you at the time of the signing and then charge you a high fee to cancel the contract.
The sale rep intentionally made me sign the agreement without giving me the complete contract, only sent to me weeks later.
This is what has happened to me and my small business in Tampa FL.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them with their deceiving business practice, there are many reputable and honest companies out there.
P.S.
If you look online there are hundreds of reviews for the same issue against Transnational.
Stay Away- Horrible Company
This is the worst merchant services company in the world. Stay away from them.
Their reps lie about their cancellation fees and they charge outrageous "other fees" which they don't bother to tell you about when they are trying to suck you in. They give terrible customer service, don't return phone calls, and provide no assistance. The rep who sold me on and lied about the service disappeared after telling me how great of customer service he was going to provide. I don't understand how merchant service companies like this can get away with all the crap that they pull.
Stay away and don't go near this company ever!! I'd give them zero stars if I could do it.
Merchant Credit Sam
Over three years ago a past office worker signed up for a credit card scanner for 25.00 per month. When that office was closed, so was this account.
We never used it, not once. For a year there were no debits, but 15 months ago, they started to debit from our checking account again and this time the amounts were different each month so we were not able to do a stop payment. We are a small company and they have taken 2000.00 out of our account I have been calling them constantly to get a copy of our contract and tell them we never used this service and it stopped for a year.
I was informed at that time they don't keep contracts that long, if in fact we had a contract at all. I found these withdrawals while doing an audit in our company books.
Unfortunately the last person thought it was something we used. Last month I filled out a form to close the account on my end so no more would come out.
Two days after signing, another 92.95 came out, so a total of $185.90 came out last month alone for nothing!! We are currently doing a fraud investigation with out bank.
- Evasiveness
- Lax attitude in helping resolve my issues
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Worse sales people ever!!!!!!!
They would not accept no for a answer. After telling the rep that called me several times that I was not interested the "manager" got on line and just kept harping on me.
I kept telling him that the owner of this company has several other companies and he has all his transactions tied to the same processer and would not be happy with me even considering changing!!!! He acted like he would be doing me a favor and that he was trying to help me out.
He was thinking about the commission he would get with a sale I would NEVER use this company after the experience I just had even if they would give it to me free. You could tell it was a "boiler room" operation.
HARD LINE SALES: TNP (Trans National Card Processing)
I am a plumber & own a medium sized business. We were cold called by TNP & the salesman just talk & talk, they don't listen.
After a 2nd & third call (I told them I wanted to do more research & check them out more) they were rude & pushy. These sales people (the 2 Mikes that I spoke with) didn't listed & overcome objections that were not the concerns that I stated. Their equipment up front was not too pricey, but too hard of a sell. NO WAY, that I will sign up with them.
I have used Square for years (yes the fees are a bit higher), I get paid quickly and have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM! Stick with what you know.
For a thousand dollars a year of potential savings why take a big fat question mark into my business. Business owners have enough to take care of without dealing with pushy cold calling salespeople.

Transnational Bankcard - Review in Cards category
Terrible company the line up front about the fees after they get you hooked they won't let you out unless you pay a large sum so you're stuck paying monthly fees to them and compliant fees and being treated very rudely do yourself a favor do not use this company for your processing
Transnational Bankcard stole my money
I am a small business owner and used Transnational Bankcard to process credit cards. More than 1 1/2 years after I closed my account with Transnational, they went into my bank account and literally stole a large sum of money from my business account.
I did not give them authorization to do this. They are claiming that at some point when I did have an account with them a client disputed a charge. I was never given an opportunity to dispute what this "client" asserted. As soon as I became aware of Transnational attempting to steal money from my account, I put a stop on my account.
Unfortunately Transnational is quite sneaky. They were able to gain access by changing their merchant id number.
Please run from this company.
Holding Money
This Comany is a fraud. They signed my company up to process credit card transactions with a 10% reserve on our account.
After we processed $150,000 and they have $15,000 along with another $15,000 that they never funded to my account, then they call me and say I need more documentation to continue with the account. They're a complete fraud. Contact the Attorney General in the state of Illinois at the address below.
They act as if they're trying to hlp me rectify the situation but from reading the reviews posted on this site i understand that a legal battle is the only thing thats going to get me my money back.

Misrepresentation of fees, length of contract and cancellation fee.....
I was hounded by phone and in person by a smooth talking, chart wielding salesperson from Transnational Bankcard, guaranteeing me huge savings if I signed up with his company. I have lost hundreds of dollars because I am now paying 5% for every transaction processed due to astronomical fees.
When I figured out that I was in fact not saving money but spending more I called my salesperson to cancel my account only to find out that I could not cancel because I was in a 3 year contract. I was never told that I was entering in a 3 year contract. No where in the paperwork that I signed does it indicate a 3 year contract nor is there any mention of a $500 cancellation fee. I never saw the 16 page document outlining the terms and conditions of my contract nor did my salesperson feel it was important to tell me about it.
I only have 1 year left on my lease, I don't even know if I will be in business for 3 more years. There is no way I would have signed this contract knowing I was entering into a 3 year contract! I feel this salesperson completely misrepresented his company solely to get the sale. Buyers beware, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
I should have just stayed with Square. Shame on me for not doing my homework.
Check out all of the different websites, siting similar situations. We all can't be lying!
Deceptive Contract
TransNational hasn't really provided me with the help that I had hoped, using their credit card system. I have been on this program since September and paid them $15 plus a month penalty for the lack of use. I have decided that I have given it enough of a try and have attempted to cancel.
Mr Hatchett insists that they are going to charge me $250 to discontinue. He insists that I have a three year contract and have agreed to pay $250 fee to discontinue before that. His only suggestion is that I try it for another 5-6 months, costing me another $90 or so, THEN pay the $250 if I want to discontinue.
Mr Hatchett said I agreed to this. What I signed saying that I agreed to it was headed, "Acceptance of merchant application and terms & conditions/merchant authorization". There was a lot of math and conditions on that page and I assumed that that was it. When pushed to see the terms and conditions that agreed to a three years contract and a $250 discontinuation fee, he finally admits that I never saw it.

Hello Sherry,
Here is the legal language that describes the length of term and cancellation fees. It can be found in the attached complete terms and conditons. Although you did no see or read the terms and conditions, by signing the application you agreed to its provisions.
13. TERM AND TERMINATION.
This Card Services Agreement shall remain in full force and effect for an initial term of three (3) years. This Card Services Agreement shall be automatically extended for successive one (1) year periods on the same terms and conditions expressed herein, or as may be amended, unless Merchant gives written notice of termination as to the entire Card Services Agreement or a portion thereof at least 60 days prior to the expiration of the initial term or any extension or renewals thereof, in which case this Card Services Agreement will terminate at the end of the then-current term. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth herein, in the event Merchant terminates this Card Services Agreement in breach of this Section 13, the following amount(s) shall be immediately due and payable to Global Direct: the lesser of (a) the maximum amount permitted by state law, and (b) the amount of $250, such amount being immediately due and payable to Global Direct. Merchant hereby authorizes Global Direct to accelerate the payment of such applicable amount(s) and to deduct such total amount(s) from Merchant’s account referenced in Section 5, or to otherwise withhold the total amount(s) from amounts due to Merchant from Global Direct, immediately on or after the effective date of termination. If the Merchant’s account does not contain sufficient funds for the debit or the amount cannot be withheld by Global Direct from amounts due to Merchant, Merchant shall pay Global Direct the amount due within ten (10) days of the date of Global Direct’s invoice for same. The payment as described here is not a penalty, but rather is hereby agreed by the parties to be a reasonable amount of liquidated damages to compensate Global Direct for its termination expenses and all other damages under the circumstances in which such amounts would be payable. Such amount(s) shall not be in lieu of but in addition to any payment obligations for Services already provided hereunder (or that Global Direct may continue to provide), which shall be an additional cost, and any and all other damages to which Global Direct may be entitled hereunder. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if Merchant provides Global with written notice within forty-five (45) days of Merchant’s execution of this Card Services Agreement that it wishes to terminate this Card Services Agreement immediately, Merchant shall not be responsible for the payment of the above-referenced amount(s), but shall be responsible for compliance with all other terms and conditions set forth in this Card Service Agreement, including but not limited to payment for all fees incurred prior to the termination of this Card Services Agreement.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Global Direct may terminate this Card Services Agreement or any portion thereof upon written notice to Merchant. Furthermore, Global Direct may terminate this Card Services Agreement at any time without notice upon Merchant’s default in performing under any provision of this Card Services Agreement, upon an unauthorized conversion of all or any part of Merchant’s activity to mail order, telephone order, Internet order, or to any activity where the card is not physically present and swiped through the Merchant’s terminal, upon any failure to follow the Card Acceptance Guide or any operating regulation or rule of a card association or network organization, upon any misrepresentation by Merchant, upon commencement of bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings by or against the Merchant, upon a material change in the Merchant’s average ticket or volume as stated in the Merchant Application, or in the event Global Direct reasonably deems itself insecure in continuing this Card Services Agreement.

I'm just wondering if you are going to send me the conditions/merchant authorization papers that state that I agree to a $250 fee for discontinuing the program? ~ Sherry

I have searched over all the documents and I do not find anything that says that I agree to a $250 wthdrawal fee. I see where I signed that I agree to the "terms and Conditions: which I assume was on the page that I signed since it said "Acceptance of merchant application and terms & conditions/merchant authorization". Under THAT there is NO condition of a $20 withdrawal fee. I would like to see what you gave me that says that I agree to a $250 withdrawal fee. ~ Sherry
Today:
I see. So you’re telling me that your goal in this business is not what is outlined on the solicitation paper that you originally sent; to help merchants improve their business. Your goal is to trick people into signing something they never saw so you can rope them into $15 plus a months rather they can use your service or not.
I signed a paper saying that I read the terms and conditions which was headed above "Acceptance of merchant application and terms & conditions/merchant authorization". How would you expect for someone to read something you have not sent them? It is obvious why you neglected to send this to me. It wasn't intended to know the truth.
I am quite sure that this is not how Dean would handle business. I am also quite sure that the Attorney General and BBB will entertain some action. ~ Sherry

Hello Sherry,
I was just advised that TransNational will not waive the cancellation fee. Sorry, but I tried. Your options are to give it a few more months (4 to 6) and see if the program will provide some value.
Thanks,

Jeff,
I have been trying to get in touch with you. I was under the impression that you were going to check to see if you could wave the $250 fee. Would you get back with me about anything you have found out? ~ Sherry
Transnational Bancard- Liars and Thieves
I have a small Prepay cell phone store. I currently have transnational bancard for all my Credit Card, Check Card transactions. This company held back 80% of my money for over a month because they said it was an error they made on my merchant ID number. I know I should have been checking the reciepts with my bank account sooner but I trusted TransNational. Don't make the same mistake I did.
I talked to a salesman that said he could give me great rates and save me money but they trap you in a 2 yr lease that makes you pay $2400.00 for a CC machine that you'll never own.
I sent a monthly bill in by check for the machine and they still drafted it out of my account. I wasn't able to get that money back or credit for paying a month on the lease.
Transnational Bancard Inc.
If someone contacts you from this company to process your credit cards-Beware. . . Beware. . . Beware for the bait and switch.
They come in talking about how much they are going to "save" you , not about how much it is going to cost.
I wanted to take credit cards in my business. I was contacted by someone from Transnational, a cold caller, and agreed to meet with him. Soon his "manager" who represents how great the company is and how they are a "big player" in the world of credit card processing shows up and tells me how they are going to help me and be there for me.
In the end, I was tied to a four year lease that I cannot get out of for an amout I cannot afford. After I got my first statement, they had taken over $250 from my business account for this lease and "additional fees" . Never did he explain that it was going to cost this much or that it was just the beginning of a four year nightmare.
Yes- I did sign a flurry of papers, but it was not explained in terms I could understand. I run a small shop, and there is no way I would have consented to spending this much money per month for so long. I do not make that much that I could have justified it.
I tried to appeal to many different people in the company, and out of the company. All with the same result-"THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO". The truth is -there is nothing they want to do except take my money and have their attorneys ready if I don't give it to them They are scammers preying on the niavety of the small business owner.
