MISLEAD ME!
I received a speeding ticket in the later part of Sept.2012 My court apperance was scheduled Oct.22nd 2012 I did not have to appear in court if i paid the fine of $87.00 in advance. Wanting to avoid points and a raise in my insurance i obtained services from a Traffic Law Center on Kinghighway in St. Louis Mo. I have no previous anything-Clean license. Attorney -Jill M. Kenny assures me if i payed her $80.00 in total. She would go to court and get this reduced to a parking ticket. My total fine would be aprox. $170.00 as opposed to $87.00. I pay the $80.00 and go on my way. Today i receive a letter from Jill M.Kenny giving me instructions on when and where to mail my $350.00 fine for my parking ticket!!! NOT A TYPO!! After reading this JOKE i went to the Richmond Heights,Mo.website to see what these fines actually are. There are no parking tickets listed-However,I can do improper lane usage and pretty much anything else i'd like for under $75.00 w/a $26.00 court cost! I haven't had the pleasure of speaking to this "lovely lady "about this problem yet because they were conviently closed when i received the letter. I hope to give some good news when i do check back but this is an ATTORNEY and a Prosecuting Attorney so who knows!! I will hire a real Attorney before i pay this ridiculous fine though ! TY

I work for a law firm that handles traffic tickets among other things. I can tell you that you were not charged $350 to the court for a "parking ticket".
Your speeding ticket was amended to illegal parking, which gives you no points on your license, in exchange for paying a higher fine than you would for the original speeding ticket. The $87 was probably the attorney fee alone.
The attorney cannot tell you an exact amount that the court will charge you to do the ammendement. They can only give an estimate based on their past interactions with said court.
