Refuse a reasonable return
- - The product was marketed as an electronic trunk lock but it was mechanical.
- - The RMA was denied for an unused item in original packaging.
Toyota Parts deals.com just has unreasonably stringent return policies. They insist on rejecting any return where the package has even been open for examination.
I know of no one else on the web who enforces such a policy.
I will never do business with this company again and I strongly suggest that you do not either. I might also point out that when I peruse their prices I found that the local dealerships we're actually a better deal considering that they don't charge your shipping.

Website appeared to offer an electronic trunk lock.
In fact, trunk lock was mechanical only.
Company operates on the web under ToyotaPartsDeals.com. They refused to allow me an RMA even though I have original packaging and the product is unused and in the same condition as I received.
They refused a return simply because the bag was opened. NO LEGITIMATE COMPANY TAKES THIS POSITION. Some charge a restocking fee but no one refuses a reasonable return. Its bad business.
Furthermore, the policy is NOT clearly displayed on their site but only buried in legal language on a secondary page.
Business has made no effort whatsoever to resolve the problem.
They just refused me.
I want at least 80% of my money returned---no less. I will pay return shipping.
