We bought 2 vehicles from Toyota of Surprise in the last 4 months. The first one, brand new....no issues.
We had such a great experience we went back for another. This one was used... But since they wouldn't let us take it the day we saw it because they had to run inspections on it... And Scott, the Finance Manager went on and on about how he knew the guy that had owned it before and told us about the work this guy put into this truck and the only reason he got rid of it was because he needed a family car we were certain we were getting a solid truck.
What really sold us on the truck was hearing the previous owner was a mechanic for GM and how he took such good care of it and mostly because of the $4000 "bullet proof" transmission it had in it. Here we are less than a month later, have not even made the first payment yet and we just paid $2700 for a transmission at the Sands Chevrolet dealership across the street!! We hoped Toyota would stand behind this deal in some way... Nope!
They wouldn't fix it. They wouldn't put one cent towards the repair. Sands was great!! They tried everyday for many days to get in contact with Toyota about this and they wouldn't even return the calls.
We will NEVER do business with this dealership again!! Buyers beware!!
