WE GOT A GREAT DEAL WITH TOM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My family right now loves Grossing My mother in law and myself purchase cars from here in the past month. We both had Tom help us and he is amazing. Especially since my mother in law just purchase a car from here less than a month ago.

Tom was great. He did not want to sit with us for five hours like they did with my in-laws so I got a great deal right off the bat! Manny the sales manager was a hoot!

Tom was very supportive, Right away got the sales manager. The experience was one of the best ever!

The only thing we were very disappointed with was the restrooms. Come on Grossinger. Have someone monitor your restrooms. The women's restroom was a pig pen. Water all over the counters. Dirty toilets and toliet seats! EWWK!

Joe the closer seemed pissed off to be there he was very scary! But in the end we were happy with our deal and purchase.

BEST PART WAS HITTING THE GONG~

Greedy Grossinger

I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna that I bought new from Grossinger. I took it back to them for everything no one else even looked under my cars hood it was a one dealership car loyal and true. Back in June I noticed that my air wasn't blowing out cold air so I dropped off with them to look at. I get a call that my hoses were all worn and leaking and needed to be replaced. Bottom line $1800. I told them not to do anything and that I would come pick up the car. I get there and I ask the guy how a car that is garage kept have worn out hoses that are leaking??? He tells me that it appears that rodents have chewed into the hoses which caused the leak.

I take the car home without air and am thinking about when I can have the money and I can take it back to have it repaired. Then a couple of days later I am speaking to a friend of mine who tells me that if rodents have chewed into the hoses to cause the leaks then my insurance should cover that. So I call my insurance company and they tell me yes it is covered and that I should take it to a place by my house and have them look at it which I do. They take a look at it and call me up to tell me that there are no problems with the hoses??? They then ask me for the name of the person at Toyota who I spoke with so they could give him a call. They call him and he tells them that he never said anything about rodents???? Now I look like a liar!! So I call the guy at Toyota and he says that they had a better look at it and they didn't see any rodent *** marks??? WTF??? Why did he tell me that rodents had chewed into the hoses and they were all leaking??? What was he looking at???

I go back to the place the insurance company sent me too which I have to say was an excellent place with a real nice service manager. He tells me that I should just find a place where they do air work and have it checked out and that it never made sense to him that all the hoses needed to be replaced. So I find a place and I have it fixed for $290.00 not $1800. It was the o rings that connect the hoses that were worn.

Now when all this was going on my insurance adjuster calls me. I tell him what Toyota had told me about the rodents and the other place didn't see anything. so he ask which dealership it was and I tell him Grossinger. His response was that figures!! so I ask why and he said that?? He tells me that he used to work there and knows firsthand of their dishonest practices.

Bottom line is I will never take my car back there or buy another car from them!!! Who knows what work I have had done that didn't need to be.

FYI now after reading others post I wonder if they did the same thing to me. The day I took my car there to have them look at the air I also asked them to take a look at my front drivers side tire which was low. When they called me about the air they also told me that I needed a new tire because it had a nail in the sidewall now I wonder??? Bottom line they also said that I couldn't just replace the one tire but I had to buy two or the car would run off balance. Look at me I bought two new tires because I trusted them. Never again!Follow up to the Rodent story, Grossinger must read this post because I get a call from Al the service manager at Grossinger Toyota he wanted to ask me what they can do to make this up to me. I tell him nothing!! that I wasn't interested. So he presses because he doesn't want to lose my business. He wants to know how they can make it up. I then tell him the thing that made me the most mad was that Solomon from the service department never told CCA about the Rodent biting into the hoses. That's the reason I made the call to State farm because my friend told me that if I had a rodent problem it would be covered under my insurance policy. Then Al tells me that Solomon states that he never mentioned rodents???? I thought that he just never mentioned it to CCA but now he's saying he never mentioned it at all? I then tell Al to put Solomon on the phone because I want him to tell me that directly. If he's going to lie I want to hear him lie. Then Al tells me that Solomon is not in but will be in the next day and that they would both call me back then. Before this Al and I speak about my quote. The first one was for about $1800 then they went down to around $1695 Solomon also said that they would have to order the parts because they didn't have them in stock. Now Al is telling me that the cost would only be about $295 which is what I paid to have the air fixed. ??? more questions???? WTF then why did Solomon tell me $1695??? Al says that was the worst case scenario ???? If they could change the O-rings without breaking the corroded hoses it would have only been around $295. I tell him that I never had that option. I also told him that from speaking with Solomon that I was going to pay $1695 and that was it!!! final price!!! I had corroded hoses with what appeared to be *** marks in them.!! No just replacing the O-rings. But Al insured me that if they could get the hoses off and not damage them that they would have just have replaced the O-rings and that would be it. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha What does he think I was born yesterday???? I know that the bill would have been $1695 no other option was ever presented to me. I have never been given a quote at an auto service center then when I went to p/u my car they tell me guess what Mr. I know we told you $1695 but the bill is only $295. Unless that option was explained to me up front. But then what normally happens goes like this. ( yes we tried our best to save the hoses but just couldn't so the bill is $1695 sorry hehe)

!!

So bottom line is Solomon and Al did call me back and Solomon stuck to his story where he said he never mentioned rodents. They tried real hard to keep me as a customer wanting to know what he could do to keep me over and over again and over again.(To the point where it was annoying) I kept telling them nothing that I was done with them and even more so now that for some reason he wants to continue his lie that he never said that. I kept telling him that he wasn't listening to me because I was done with them but he wasn't listening. Too bad Grossinger Toyota I now know that you were never faithful but deceived me all along but I was faithful to you but you just were greedy and *** because if there was never a mention of rodents I would have paid the $1695 to have the air fixed but this actually worked out to my favor. . or maybe I should just say thanks for revealing your true colors so I could see who you really are.

FYI one thing Al and CCA told me was that the hoses are metal and can not be bitten into by Rodents. I told him how would I know that I think of hose's as being rubber I am not a mechanic.

Name of forum tells all

The name of forum tells all.It amazes me that in todays society you can attack anybody you choose and post it on the internet with no consequences. There are always two sides too every story and normally the truth fits in the middle.

Why create a forum the lets untrue affect peoples name and business's.

If you look at the complaints most are pretty one sided.People have not class anymore and should not be listened to, its a sight that allow people to make up there own stories and if you buy into this shame on you. Look at yelp or other sights that premote happy and unhappy consumers so you here all aspects of the truth.

Sold Me A Lemon!

I went in about 2 months ago and purchased a used car for 8,000. It was in good condition and I absolutely loved it!

They tried charging me an extra 1,000 for detailing and a new battery. We spoke to a manager and he had them take it off, so things were looking up. After we left, we drove 13 miles and the clutch went out. We waited 2.5 HOURS for them to tow us back.

They gave us a rental and fixed my car for free, but we didn't get the car back for 42 days.

By that time, I had already made my first payment. I had the car for 12 hours and the transmission went out. They came and towed the car back and said they weren't fixing it again, I had to pick a different car. They gave me 2 rows of *** cars.

I didn't like any of them, so they had me pick one out from another lot. I found a car I liked. When we went through the bargaining again, they didn't take one cent off the new car, and tried charging me an extra 600 for my payoff and the tax, title, & doc fees again!

Needless to say, we are now dealing with the owner to settle this.

We may have to resort to going through our lawyer instead.
