Not Trustworthy

Disappointed in T Hyundai in Denville, NJ. I bought a 2015 Sonata in Sept 2015, had it serviced in March. Got a flat on April 10 on a busy interstate. Called Roadside, got the run around from them, so called a local tow company. Tire wasn't repairable, so I bought a new one. The reason for the flat, the plug went bad. What? I bought the car brand new! Somewhere/how the tire was repaired prior to driving the car off the lot. The dealer wanted nothing to do with me, and accused me of trying to get a new tire from them paid for.

The Worst Car buying experience EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST. They will scam you with fees and never give you a final price for any car once you are in the lot. They give you monthly payments and you basically have to force them to give you the final interest rate if you decide to finance. I was also told our car was being detailed and oil filter change was being done with purchase of the car. We were charged $289 for this service and only noticed once we got home. We also noticed the Unit price ( price of the car) before tax was not the price we agreed on initially. $895 for GAP insurance was also added to our tab and Jerrett (finance guy) was rude on the phone when we called to cancel. (you do not need this FEE). The reason for our visit to To this dealership was because of a recall with our santa fe that no one seemed to figure out. Corporate kept us waiting for over 2 weeks with no answer and we needed a car (this dealership did not have LOANER cars available but would provide a RENTAL vehicle at a reasonable rate!!!!!!!) Horrible company to do business with. Etch fee is also optional and you do not need this $199 fee BEWARE!!!!!!

They cashed my "car hold" check

Hyundai Denville in NJ asked me for a check to "hold" the car I wanted because they needed to swap a car at their dealership for the car I wanted at the other Hyundai dealership. While signing the contract, I asked the finance manager if he had ripped up the "holding" check. Said he was confused-left-then came back and told me the check was cashed adding 1,000 dollars to the price of the car. Ths salesman never told me the check was toward the car purchase. He lied to my face,told me they'd cut me a check-for 1,000 dollars-never happened. disgraceful!
