Horrible service and product

I've called over 5 times, talked with someone over chat, and opened several tickets. Only thing I want is to be able to access the course I purchased.

I can't do that and no one will help me. Actually, one person called me and said he resolved the issue and I was able to access my course one time, then never again. I hope other consumers are not faced with the same issues I'm having. Being a software company, you would think being able to access the course would be a given expectation that is met.

This is ridiculous. Comon guys, you have a good product, let people EASILY ACCESS IT!

They just keep charging

Like several other people have mentioned, these guys just keep charging. I originally signed up for a years with them and after six months I was absolutely unhappy with the services they provided. After going through a lengthy back and forth over email I finally received a refund for the remainder of the unused months.

Fast forward six months. I wake up, check my emails to find they have billed me for a full years worth of service. I tried calling multiple times with no luck and finally had to speak with the sales department and threaten legal action as well.

These people are crooks and people need to know not to use their services. Go with Lynda.com. Much better content and easier customer service to deal with!

I would have to agree, they have repeatedly charged me for over 3 years each time I would have to either get a refund or file a complaint with the card company. They just again tried to charge the card but it is no longer valid and got denied.

They had the nerve to send me a invoice expecting me to pay it.

Stay away from this company. The content that we originally used wasn't bad but half the time when we tried to use the server it wouldn't recognize our account.

Total Training Are Scam Artists

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Several years ago, I purchased a 7-CD training package for Adobe Creative Suite 4 from these bums. I recently upgraded my operating system to Yosemite and now find the TT software won't run.

I contacted these scam artists via live chat (of course they don't provide a phone number) and was told by the chat agent that they only support the "digital version" of the training package...In other words...they wanted me to "buy up" to the online version @ $25 per month, WHEN I ALREADY OWN THE PACKAGE.

The chat agent had such bad grammar that I suspect he/she is one of those Third World sweatshop workers who gets paid $2.00 a day and doesn't care if you get what you need or not.

This is a class action suit waiting to happen. If you haven't already made the mistake of doing business with them, DON'T, or you'll regret it later.

They'll keep charging you - even when you cancel!! Buyer beware!!

I purchase a training package for our company to use in 2011. We used it for 2 years very sparingly. I reached out to cancel the service before our charges were renewed in 2013. They charged us anyway!

I continually reached out to them, and got nothing back. Like others have mentioned, they do not answer their phone calls/return them. After losing my cool and threatening legal action, Annmarie Bourgois said she would help me with the cancellation. She didn't, so I just disputed the charges with our credit card company who took care of the refund on the unauthorized charges.

2014 rolls around and to my surprise, we're charged yet again! I reached out to them again and spoke with Annmarie - who said there's no record of me in their system. If that's the case, how am I being charged? Once again, it got to the point of threatening legal action and I THINK they are going to refund the unauthorized charges, but I will believe it when I see it.

Buyer Beware - of you sign up with them once, you'll likely be paying for it the rest of your life... or at least till your credit card expires. Whichever comes first.

This happened to me as well!! On my subscriptions, my status is canceled, but they keep charging me and I have reached out to them three times, and twice they have promised they would cancel my account and give me a refund.

Nothing has happened and they don't even seem to care and customer support just says they have forward and inquiry and that I will hear from Total Training soon (which never happens).

I feel so frustrated and I don't know what to do, I will never ever buy from Total Training again.

Total Training

They've ripped me off and now they've filed for bankruptcy. They're still taking money, just google Total Training Bankruptcy and you'll see the way they run their business.

Total Training included with new PC (HP store)

I had a laptop computer built for me via HP computer store online. Included in that offer was a tutorial Total Training for Microsoft Windows 8.

I included it in my order. I got a cd (sealed). When I opened the package, no cd. What I had was a card with an activation code.

I activated the account on line. Was not able to select my course (Window 8) Got support. I have no idea why my ($801.00) laptop windows 8 could not bring their website online with complete information. I have no problems with any other website.

This computer runs just fine. If I got a refund I would be happy but I can see that they have no problem wanting me to pay for the tutorial the second time though. This might be the latest scam. deception with the cd.

give you a problem to solve, wait awhile and you will go somewhere else to get a course for less money (eBay for *** sakes). Customer bites the bullet and they get to keep your money and hope that you keep your mouth shut. The easy prey is good business, right?

Pissed off? Oh, brother you have no idea.

TotalTraining.com SUCKS!

Bought a yearly membership after researching. Asked Sales if I can use android, ipod touch to view online training. Of course they said 'Yes' becuase they did not have my money yet. I can not view the training now on the android tablet... the specifc item I need to view this training. I emailed tech support only to get the one line conflicting statement 'We do not support Android'. Thats it!. No Help... No suggestions?

I emailed, & emailed with no reply. Now that I have a known issue & I am not happy with the product, they do not answer my emails.

They also said the quality of the courses is much better than Lynda.com. They are not even in the same ballpark.... TotalTraining.com SUCKS.

Not all, but some of the trainers are not good. I think they hired elementary school teachers. They say the keywords slow & emphasize them to make it sound like they are actually teaching. Most of the online training is a waste of time & they are really behind when it come to the most recent versions.

Don't waste your money. I know it is cheaper, but you get what you pay for..... I would be ashamed if I was afilliated with TotalTaining.com

Spend the extra & get Lynda.com..... I had a trila of them & they are so much better. I wish I saved my money. Now TotalTraining.com has my money and they see no need to give support....

I totally agree with that TotalTraining.com online video training SUCKS!

No help

Why do they even have a support line?

Once they have your money, good luck trying to get what you pay for.

My review of total training online gives it two thumbs down.

Non responsive customer service

I was not able to use the lesson projects that went along with the dvd training. I could not reach anyone at Total Training by phone.

When I left messages both voice and email, I received an answer the next day that did not help whatsoever and no one would return my call. Consequently, the tutorial is doing me very little good. Annmarie Bourgeois is the person I had contact with who would not return my call. If everything goes fine with your dvds you will be fine.

But if you need assistance, don't hold your breath.

I personally do not do business with a company that does not answer the phone.

Avoid the Total Training Online Education site

I just wanted to warn people to avoid the Total Training online educational services. It's a bit ironic that they are offering technical training but appear to be a bit clueless re.

providing robust web based training. I was using a fairly standard configuration (Mac OS X 10.5.8 and Firefox 5.0.1) and they were unable to provide support re. allowing me to view the trainings. After getting a few canned emails from tech support about making sure I had all the proper plug-ins installed and enabled (I did) I finally got what seemed like a response from a human, to use their beta version for Mac users (which said it was meant for users of OS X Lion and/or Safari 5.1, neither of which was the case for me).

This, not unexpectedly, resulted in some strange error that no one responded to.

Instead, the next day I go canned message saying "Hello Young Karl,..., what browser are you using,..." (name is Karl Young). I persevered a little farther, recounting the sequence of steps and suggestions from the previous day and asking if there were further suggestions but just received the message "At this time no, the beta player is our currently working solution and has been successful for 99% of the users." at which point I gave up and decided to pursue getting a refund (which may itself be nontrivial - we'll see how the retailer reacts).

I've had a similar experience with Total Training's Online Training. I'm on a PC and have tried Internet Explorer 9, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari (all latest versions) and none of them will play the videos.

They sent me the same canned response about setting Internet Explorer to compatibility mode which I did, and still the videos won't play. Then I installed the plugins as suggested in the other browsers, still nothing. Whatever you do, avoid Total Training at all costs. I also use Lynda.com and their videos play great in all browsers.

Now I'm asking for a refund and suddenly no response from them.

I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau next after calling my credit card company. Buyer beware, Total Training is a rip off.
