Total Entertainment of Danvers dropped the ball, ruined wedding?

My wedding story, as submitted directly to the BBB: I contacted sales rep "BARBARA" from Total Entertainment on Feb 11, 2011 to inquire about a tent rental for my wedding on May 22, 2011. BARBARA informed me of the price for same day delivery/pick up for a 20 x 40 tent (white peak, no walls) as being $690.70 for the location of CROCKER PARK, on Front Street in Marblehead, MA. I had previously inquired to other companies, as well as looked into renting a chapel in case of rainy weather, and I found this to be the best price. I paid half of the balance ($345.35 on Feb 11,2011) and was informed that I would need to pay the remaining balance by May 15, 2011. I received a contract via email shortly after. On May 13, 2011 I tried to contact Total Entertainment to pay my balance due for the tent. I was unable to get ahold of anyone, so I left a message and tried again on Saturday. Finally, on Sunday May 15th, I spoke with a worker who told me that I needed to speak with "JIM" who was handling my event and that he would be in on Monday, May 16th. I asked this worker if it would be okay to pay the balance on Monday and she said yes. On Monday, the 16th of May, JIM called my cell phone while I was at work. As soon as I was able, I stepped away from my desk and returned his call. JIM then told me that my event location did not allow for any structures including tents, and that there was nothing he could do about it. Because I am a Minnesota resident planning a destination wedding in Marblehead, I rely on the vendors' to give me any and all information promptly as well as make sure I know of any potential problems - and if there are any problems, I expect them to give me ample time to make alternative arrangements. I find no excuse for this situation 6 days before my wedding, especially being that his company had my contract with all information on it more than 3 months prior. There is very little chance of me making other arrangements which I was looking into back in February. Total entertainment took away three months in which I could have rented another hall or chapel.
