It's time we return the disrespect and give it back. Let's all start calling them with fake service calls and give them a false address as in Publix, or the library or maybe a neighbor you don't like etc.. let's have them start pulling their hair out instead of ours. I worked for Total Air Disaster and let me tell you the inside story. First home warranty service is a terrible circle. The home warranty companies convince home owners to buy a warranty plan. Then the only service companies they can get to work for them is companies that sign a contract to bill them from a scheduled pricing plan that is about as dirt cheap as it gets. American Home Shield dispatched Total Air Care to respond to a repair request. Initially, Total Air Care responded to the dispatch within an hour - so far, so good. However, the train came off the tracks shortly thereafter. Something so simple as a clogged drain, shut down our Trane. They send out an *** who says he needs a different fitting to blow out the pipe and then breaks our digital thermostat and leaves. Three more techs come out to assess the thermastat and still no air. Another week goes by and they are going to order the thermostat, another tech comes out, still no air. You will absolutely lose your mind talking to their fabulous (sarcasm) customer... Read more

A guy called me this morning, thinking I was this company, raising *** about the system not working... I re assured him it was not me, tried to help him find a local # for the company....no luck. I've seen the trucks around, all guys look like geeks , thugs and methheads. Reviews are terrible, glad I don’t do the Angies list, American Home Shield, or any of those companies. American Home Shield sent Total Air Care who attempted to scam me out of just over $1000.00! They sent a technician to clean my coils. While attempting to clean my coils the technician damaged them. That same day, my unit would no longer cool properly. The coil was covered under my home warranty HOWEVER I was asked to pay over 1K worth of freon and duct modifications for installation of the new coil. Thats right, they tried to charge me for... My air conditioning unit was leaking in May. The technician came claimed he found a leak, charged me a heap of money for service and to replace the Freon and left. He assured me that the Freon would last the life of the unit now (unit is 4 years old), so should be years before I ever had to address this again Four months later the unit starts leaking. Again! Do not use this company if you want your issues resolved quickly and professionally over a month and still no air. This company is unprofessional from Samantha in customer service, to Michelle in authorizations, to Micheal the technician manager. They sent a technician to my home to fix our air, the technician diagnosed the issue then asked us what did we want to do. DO NOT USE TOTAL AIR CARE!! They charged me for Freon $100 a pound. 8 Months later NO AIR!! The Service Manager Name Michael is a BUTT HOLE. Be prepared to Argue and fight with him when you talk with him. He will not let you explain your concerns. AHS warranty company executive relations have been notified. They need to drop TOTAL AIR CARE.

Total air care was assigned to fix my AC by American Home Shield 12 days ago. Needless to say, I still have no AC. They have no idea where the compressor they ordered is and they can't even find the work order. Their parts department never answers the phone.
