I bought a Pendaflex file box organizer from Amazon. The package arrived was missing one metal support clip part.

Two of these metal clips were supposed to be included, but I only got one. I talked to Amazon about this and they recommended I talk to the manufacturer directly since it's just small part and it's the manufacturer who does the packaging. So I emailed Tops Products who is the manufacturer. But in their response, they said "we are unable to send just one piece of an item", which is clearly untrue because they make and distribute these things!

Plus, it's THEIR mistake that I didn't get the metal part and I paid full price for it. They say that I have to return the item to Amazon and get a refund from them.

But I've already assembled the file box (though without the support clip) and threw away the box because Amazon support person made it sound like the manufacturer would gladly send just the part to me. It is incredible that this company thinks it's okay to keep making their customers pay for their own negligence.

Hello,

I paid over fifty dollars for my perculator and the handle has come detached from the body. Ace Hardware will not take it back because I no longer have the receipt nor the box.

It has ONLY been a couple of months.

The perculator should not come apart like that. Is there somewhere I can send your perculator back to to re-sauter the handle or get my money back.

Earlier this year I purchased a 750ml bottle of Johnny Walker Double Black from Tops in Komatipoort Soth Africa. The box was broken but the Sales Lady put it in a plastic bag and did not inform me, the result being that when at home I took the box out of the packet and the bottle fell out and broke.

I took the broken pieces with the top still fixed to the bottle to Tops for a replacement and was told that I had to speak to the manager at Spar next door , I did so and was told that I don,t qualify for a replacement. This morning I returned a 5 litre box of wine which was acidic to Spar and the same Manager told me that as I had purchased it from Tops and they were seperate companies I had to take it to Tops which I did and they replaced it.

If they are seperate companies why when I returned the the broken whisky bottle to Tops was I sent to Spar to make a decision which was not in my favour. I am retired in Marlot Park for9 years and do all my grocery and liquor shopping at Spar in Komatipoort but maybe should change to Shoprite
