File a complaint about unprofessional management

Would like to talk with someone. I have been trying to reach someone concerning this matter. I once wrote a review but some how wouldnt let me save the info.

Poor response to complaints

Earlier this year I purchased a 750ml bottle of Johnny Walker Double Black from Tops in Komatipoort Soth Africa. The box was broken but the Sales Lady put it in a plastic bag and did not inform me, the result being that when at home I took the box out of the packet and the bottle fell out and broke. I took the broken pieces with the top still fixed to the bottle to Tops for a replacement and was told that I had to speak to the manager at Spar next door , I did so and was told that I don,t qualify for a replacement. This morning I returned a 5 litre box of wine which was acidic to Spar and the same Manager told me that as I had purchased it from Tops and they were seperate companies I had to take it to Tops which I did and they replaced it. If they are seperate companies why when I returned the the broken whisky bottle to Tops was I sent to Spar to make a decision which was not in my favour. I am retired in Marlot Park for9 years and do all my grocery and liquor shopping at Spar in Komatipoort but maybe should change to Shoprite

User's recommendation: check on relacement policy for breakages which are their fault.
