Really not ok
The quality of the CV is very very very poor. The writer does not take feedback and the response time of the writer is very very slow. Its not worth the money, the templates you can find for free online.

Cut and Paste JOb
Cut and Paste Job.
Total disappointment. Very clearly a cut & paste job as somebody elses job title and place of work appeared in my CV.
Totally uninspiring and cluttered document.
Apparently it is optimised for recruiting software yet since it went up I have not had one call.
My old fashioned CV used to attract regular calls.
The writer agreed a refund then twist and turns from customer support and Im apparently not entitled all of a sudden. Apparently I didnt request edits but I told the writer as soon as I saw the document it was poor.
Total waste of money, I wish I had read the reviews beore signing up.
Email replies are from templates.
You could do this yourself with a bit of reading around the subject
I changed by CV back this morning and I had 4 calls within the hour.
They are now refusing to answer emails.

It is a Scam. Use a google template and dont waste your money
The person who wrote my CV just took a generic template from google and adapted with the sentences I have provided to him in the questionnaire (even if the sentences were just examples to be improved by the suppossed "premium writer"). I was expecting him to properly write them and to provide some sense out of it, not just to copy-paste all sentences one after another.
I can do that myself.
I paid 350 euros for a service that does not deliver anything closer to what it says it does. I'm speechless. Especially with the linkedin part. That was a total DISASTER.
It was literally a copy paste from the CV!! Making no sense, looking so poor. The service is sold as "reqriting your profil" He did not even looked at my profile! He just took sentences from the CV and added some useless connectors in between.
This is a joke.
I demanded a reimbursement of at least that part which was 160 because of course I can copy paste my CV without spending that much money.
No answer from customer service.
I have hired another company and they are surprised by the poor job done. I am quite speechless.

Unsatisfied customer with CV writer and end result
I must say that the marketing emails pushed before subscribing the service are way contrary to the service actually provided after subscription. Throughout the CV-building course, I honestly felt that all the validations, suggestions, areas for improvement were highlighted from my end, when the ownership lies with CV technical writer!
In a nutshell, all I see as an end result with/ as Change in mere CV format with a bit of words/ phrases addition, reduction of original content provided failing to deliver impactful CV justifying skills/ capabilities.
Failed to deliver reasonable ATS score incorporating key points. No analysis done by CV writer, infact the writer was not even technical meeting up industry standards.

Awful company please don't believe the hype as you get a CV that is poorly written and no follow up.

Did not receive my product, amateur offering, and non-existent customer service
I ordered a cv writing service for $349gbp from this company after a very convincing sales pitch - https://www.topcv.com/
I received a first draft few days later and found the service was entirely unsatisfactory and nothing like their sales, it was worse than the CV I sent them. I wrote back with my feedback requesting a refund (even negotiating to go down to the cheapest service) and they refused, saying that they don’t do refunds and it’s stated on their website, and kept offering me another writer.
However I’m not confident in their service anymore and would like a refund. Furthermore I don’t want to spend hours explaining about my industry and experience to an unqualified copywriter. That’s why I paid them in the first place to save time updating the cv myself. To date I’ve emailed them back and forth, they threatened me with collections, and offered a call with me but never called.
Finally I called and the manager wasn’t available at the time.
I wrote one final email stating that I don’t want another writer and my consumer rights to a refund. They responded that they are well within their legal rights to not offer me a refund, and that if I decided to collaborate with them again they will re-open my case, which does not address my concerns at all as a customer, and one who has paid a ridiculous amount for a service that's not been delivered.
