BUYER BEWARE-----STAY AWAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM PURE HARMONEY DOG FOOD. PURE HARMONY DOG FOOD IS CONTAMINATED AND POISONOUS DOG FOOD.
The inside of the plastic bag seeps into the dog food contaminating and poisoning the dog food leaving a noticable chemical smell in the food. I smelled it right away after opening the bag, my dog smelled it and looked up at me as if he was saying "are u sure u want me to eat this" he took a bite and just let it drop out of his mouth, he wouldn't eat anymore. Even the dog knew somethings wrong with this food. I feel bad I even tried to give him this crap after I smelled the chemical smell.
Plastic contaminated food causes severe endocrine disruptions in both human males and females. I have no doubt it effects animals too. I sent a sample of the food and plastic from the bag to a reputable company to test the food for any amounts of plastic contamination or preservatives in the food or whatever the smell was and the results were from the plastic inside lining the bag. This same packaging is used in all kinds of food both humans and dog food and it makes the food smell terrible.
BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS FOOD.

Not surprised. My son has two dogs and is extremely particular about their food.
This dog food smells like cemicals, the recent purchase is the 1st that I noticed. I have been feeding my dogs this for about a year, I am calling the company to see what their response is!
I purchased a bag of Pure Harmony yesterday, and opened the bag and immediately noticed a bad odor. Smelled like rancid oil to me, not plastic chemicals.
Went back to the store and exchanged it with a bag with different exp date. SAME RANCID SMELL. They need to re-evaluate their "best by" dates.
Wasn't supposed to expire until next spring, but it was way past edible already. Wont purchase this brand again.
I have had the same experience will not feed this brand to my pets and hopefully there is no long term damage to their health as a result of year plus of them eating this food.
