VERY FRUSTRATING & UNRELIABLE!!!

Regularly no-show for several weeks...absolutely no communication...snarky to customers before they realize they have failed to apply payments made through their site...

They promised to return for add-on svcs. repeatedly ...literally for YEARS, but never made it...not even in the off-season...

Sooo many fines rec'd. for unkempt lawn.

Same....they work very inconsistently and don't get promised work started OR completed....not uncommon for them to no-show for greater than a month during active seasons.....abominable mess. Frustrating - time and time again.

Top to Bottom Lawn

Another complaint: They still haven't shown up to mow today, as they said they would. They also said that they did not receive my check for $185.00.

I checked my bank account, and lo and behold, the check for $185.00 cleared my bank! I saved the image of that check (front and back) and attached those pictures with an e-mail message to Top to Bottom. All I owe them now is the balance of $125.53 which I put in the mail to Top to Bottom today.

I am closing my account with them NOW. So I am done with this company.

Top to Bottom. They will not mow anymore cause said I complained too much.

All I wanted for them to do is not scalp my lawn. Also they broke my sprinkler head, which we had to fix.

The office personnel are not friendly. Would not recommend them.

They are to busy smoking pot to work. They are a bunch of a Pot smoking monkeys.

They think people are work horses. The owner is a ***. HOW'S THAT FOR PUTTING YOU ON BLAST.

YOUR RUDE AND SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Top to Bottom Mowing Crew is Unreliable

If there is a lot of rain, they a backlogged for several days. I contacted them by e-mail by through their online request form.

They replied and said the crew would be here to mow tomrrow. They also are pretty good at returning my calls. But I have to stay on them constantly. If you have reliable mowers, then stick with them.

But don't switch to Top to Bottom if you don't want headaches. When they do show up to mow, they do a good job.

They planted flowers in my back yard and did a fast, good job. *** treatments are good.

Contractor did not finish project now owes me money

It has been more than 30 days since I filed the complaint against this contractor. he has not responded. I write this update in the hopes that other potential clients will not give this guy money up front only to have it stolen.

Work that was paid for is not complete, the work performed was not performed in a timely manner and not completed, and the quality of the work is poor. On 6/2/11 I signed a contract with this company to build a sunroom off an existing patio (Jeff Stembokas, President).

As of this date 11/27/11 the sunroom has not been completed. The company appears to be best at delays, excuses and lies. My biggest mistake was feeling sorry for him and his cash flow problems and providing him with up front payment for work that was not completed to help him and also allow him to purchase material to complete this job. To date there is still no roof, flashing, gutters, insulation in the ceiling, brick stairs, inside and outside finishing work (trim around door and windows)- (soffit overhang to match existing house, and completed electrical work, antique bead board ceiling, paint all trim and ceiling and interior and exterior.

The inside concrete work is horrible and has not been painted nor repaired. Per terms and conditions of the contract, payment for 2/3 of the total cost should have been made, as I paid in excess of this amount the company owes me either $6600 or a finished room.

I took him to small claims court. He did not show.

Judge awarded in my favor.

Then I received a notice that the court automatically assigns civil cases involving monetary value to arbitration. Arbitration hearing is April 10th.

Run the other way

Unfortunately I've been a client of this co. for 3 years.

They've charged me for services performed that I NEVER ASKED FOR (they said they came & trimmed my bushes 2 days after my husband had done it himself!), and seemed to show up to mow 'when it was convenient for them,' even when the grass is wet! What a joke! The mowing teams use those riding mowers that dig huge chunks out of your grass, & then when u call to complain it's a big inconvenience for them to come out. I can't help that their mowers can't do their jobs.

Chad is very rude & his wife Sheree takes the cake...she acts like she has much better things to do than talk to you when you have a concern. We were charged $16 for them to come out & do some touch ups on some spots they missed that didn't even require a mower & then they tried to say it was due to the type of grass we have. Give me a break!!! We got the $16 credited to our account yesterday, then today the mowers show up without any notice & mowed!

Our back gate was locked so I'm not sure how they got back there, but in our opinion it was trespassing as we didn't know they were coming & didn't authorize the mow. So that's how they decided to recoup their $16.00 that they credited to our acct on 6/3 plus get an additional $14.00 from us...Chad is a sneaky & underhanded businessman. I wouldn't trust him with anything. I thought things would change & that's why I stayed w/them for so long...but no more.

I know there are reputable companies out there that would love to have my business.

This place should be closed down. Buyer beware...

Top to Bottom Lawn-Denton, TX-is charging me for services never rendered after I closed my account

During the time I was a customer, Top to Bottom Lawn rarely (if ever) returned phone calls/emails.

I closed my account in September 2009. Since then, they've billed me two times for services (mowing/weedeating) never rendered.

Then-they send my account to collections for theft! It would be one thing to have been charged for a service that was actually performed, even if I had closed the account. But this? Once again, I have received no return phone calls or emails from Top to Bottom.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

Don't use this company. Once you close your account, T& B will keep it open and they will bill you for services you never received.

After numerous problems regarding scheduling and inaccurate billing, I decided to close my account with this company.

I continued to receive bills for months after I closed my account, for services never rendered.

I made several attempts to contact the company via email & telephone, but never recieved a response.

The company then sent the fraudulent charges to a collections agency.

I filed a complaint against Top to Bottom Lawn & Tree and was just notified that the company refused to respond to the BBB's inquiries.

I am now pursuing other alternatives to settling this matter.

Do NOT hire this company.
