Charged my debit card with out my authorization

I was recently married. We used this company for all of our event planning.

The day before my wedding they noticed that we had 5 place cards with the wrong table numbers. So this is a pretty easy fix. You go into the excel spreadsheet and you change 5 cells, probably takes about 2 minutes to do and 1 piece of paper. This company charged me an 20% more of the total cost of my full order of 120 place cards for this aka " rush fix".

Worst of all, the owner, who told me this on the phone said that there would be a "small fee" for this fix. This small fee was never disclosed to me in terms of dollars, like hey that will be $50 more for that, is that ok to charge your debit card on file? No, no fee was ever disclosed to me, and while I was out of the country on my honeymoon, they just went ahead and charged my debit card with out my authorization or knowledge of this fee. They refused to admit that it was shady, or that they made any mistake or frankly that they even cared that I was upset.

I feel like I was robbed by some one I trusted.

I also paid them a ton of money for their services, so wow, my experience was terrible with them. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEN TO ANYONE BECUASE OF THIS!

The truth is we caught a mistake in the file the Greg provided us. They had more people sitting at a table than there were chairs.

Yes, we charged a rush fee to correct their mistake. Had we not caught it and told him about it there would have been upset guest at his wedding.

Instead of a 'thank you' we rec'd snark emails and post like this. We stand by our fees and take pride in knowing we fixed a problem that prevented a disaster at his reception.
