I was relieved to hear that TooJay’s is working on staffing issues at several of their locations. Service and quality are the key to customer retention and attracting new guests to any establishment.
Staffing shortages in The Villages are an issue affecting their guests negatively. I know that TooJays is a quality restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere have always been a big reason we live to eat there.

Service Gone Downhill
TooJays isnt what it used to be. Ive been dining at the Plantation location for over two decades.
Sadly the last several times have resulted in extremely poor customer service experiences. Today our server was obviously overwhelmed and angry. She treated my father and I with such little respect I called her a *** and asked to see the manager. The manager, Richard, had zero empathy for our experience.
I told him to *** off. Not my best moment but it was the appropriate response to his utter lack of care. I will never visit TooJays again. There are plenty of great restaurants in Plantation.
Dont waste your time regardless how good their matzah ball soup may be.
Sad. All good things must come to an end.

QUALITY OF DELIVERED FOOD
This is the second time I have attempted delivery service from TOOJAY'S located in the Brownwood Square location of The Villages. Apparently the choices you select as sides, choice of breads or for that matter anything doesn't matter because YOU'RE NOT GETTING IT.
A scrunched sandwich was thrown into a bag and delivered for $11.00. Not even a pickle. Very sad.
Very sad management. I was told by an employee to only use the Sumter Landing TooJay's and that's what I'll do.
