Tried 3 times to talk to someone in customer service about a faulty toner cartridge..after insisting I speak with a manager, I was cut off. 2.5 hours of phone time and the brand new item still does not work.
Since I purchased directly from Dell I assumed matters would be easy. The worst part was, when I asked them to look back at my records, they had all of my purchases on record except for 2015 and early 2016...the records were gone!
At one point, I was on hold for 10 minutes straight, the agent returned, repeating the same words he had just stated before.
Worst customer service I have experienced. Never buying Dell again

I spent over 20 minutes with a brothers online support person who told me to take out the toner--remove it from the drum-replace it-go online for various information-do various procedures on the machine-press all kinds of combinations of buttons-and finally told that the problem was an off brand toner. I went online and found a youtube of a brothers customer/user and in two minutes was told how to clear the machine so it would accept the new replacement toner- It's all working perfectly and thinking that brothers support person was either not informed or that it was a ploy to get me to spend $35 on a brothers toner that I didn't need. If brothers is providing support then they have to tell the customer how to solve the issue and not try to upsell supplies.
