I purchased a 2017 Toyota RAV 4 During April 2017. Several months ago, I noticed the warping of two plastic side panels. I contacted Joan Collins from customer relations who informed me that I would have to cover the cost of replacement since the damage was done by outside heat. I explain that I live in the Washington DC area and not the desert and that the part was probably defective. She appeared to be determine that it was my responsibility and I would have to pay to repair. Wow, I never expected this type of customer service from Toyota!!
