Stay away from Tom Raper's Service Department

We took our motor home in for service (that was under warranty) after we had to stop along the interstate due to smoke rolling out from under the dash. After two weeks i call them to find out they replaced fuses that failed as a result of the "fire".

They said they could find not signs of anything getting hot and ignored the fact that something got hot enough to blow fuses! Not only did they charge me for looking at it (remember it was still under warranty) they said bring it back if it happens again!

They are a totally incompetent place. Had a good experience with sales, but due to this we will NEVER do business with them again.

A follow up...took RV to Fleetwood after Tom Raper was "unable" to find issue. Fleetwood found the issue with no problem.

Covering on wiring under dash had melted. Not only did they fix this issue but the other issues we reported to Tom Raper over the past year.

I went to purchase a motor home from this company and we asked the sales person if everything was in working condition and had no leaks. he said everything worked and there were no leaks.

We got the motor home back to our home and went to work on it only to find out that the fridge and furnace don't work and there is a major leak in the front.

We contacted them to see if they would make it right and they told us we bought it as-is. They don't stand behind their word and not only will I never go back there but I will tell everyone I know not to and post this complaint everywhere I can online to prevent this from happening to someone else.

If you are trying to buy an RV class C or A as I was, look around. They had one with a NADA $500.

lest that the other guy But wanted $6,000.00 more. Dealing, I was ask to put $500.00 or more down to show I really wanted it to see how low they could go. That was it they had to have $6,000.00 more for there's than the one that booked for more.

That all went down about July 23. It took more phone calls than I want to count to get my money back, which I got on the 8th of Aug.
