Was told one thing and it was a lie.
- - Promised 75% discount at 13 points, but it did not happen.
- - Believes the policy should apply to customers.
As a high roller club member I was told once I got to 13 points I would save 75% on next visit . That did not happen.
If it was my business when I tell my customer they save 75% on next visit they will get it. Bad business Tokyo Smoke.

Verified ReviewerI'm now an ex customer
- - Refused service for lack of ID on an online order.
- - Previously sold to me without ID; refund pending.
- - My refund has not arrived; cancel Highroller.
For over a year I have been going to the 18th street location in Brandon, Manitoba without problem. I have ordered prepaid with a card and purchased in store.
Today, I placed an order and paid by credit card online.
I went to retrieve my order and was asked for ID. I didn't have ID on me as I don't carry it regularly and not ONCE in over a year have I ever had to produce ID. Since it has never previously been an issue I didn't even think of it.
When I said I hadn't any ID on me I was refused service. I asked if, since the manager I was speaking with had sold to me without ID many times before, we couldn't do as we've always done and I'd make sure to bring it next time.
I said fine, cancel the sale and refund my money.
She said the money is in some sort of limbo but she was sure I'd get it back. I asked for proof (a receipt showing the transaction cancelled for instance.) She claimed she could not provide this.
As I was explaining that I'd be happy to leave as soon as I was sure I'd have my cash back.
At this point another customer (who hadn't been ID'd - just like the person before me) made a comment toward me. I was annoyed and frustrated and that no doubt came through when I said to her, "I don't need your help thanks. Have a nice day."
This is when the other woman working got right in my face and started screaming at me to get out or she'd call the cops.
For context I'm 50 years old with a beard more grey than gold.
I get that in a licensed premises ID can be asked of any patron and lack of ID can be cause to refuse service.
I'm good with that except that this is the only time in over a year that it has so much as been mentioned and to pull it out and go super hardline on a whim with a regular customer seems a little rigid.
My money has not been returned to my account.
I had frequented Tokyo Smoke despite them not most being the closest, cheapest or best selection option available.
I chose Tokyo Smoke because of the staff. Clearly I misjudged.
Please cancel my highroller membership since I'll no longer be a customer you have no need for my info.
Thanks, have a great day

Verified Reviewer |Exceptionally poor service in Winnipeg, Canada
- - Customer was verbally assaulted by a trainee.
- - A $92 item was missing but later corrected; the reviewer seeks recompense and accountability.
Invoice # INCMT4-2JSBNDC
July 20,2023 around 5:30 pm.
I was verbally assaulted by the employee in training.
When I left the store, I found an item I had paid $92 for was missing.
When I returned to complain, the mistake was corrected.
As I received my item, I told the employee that because I'm a senior,
on a fixed income, I'm on a bicycle, I live 10 kilometers from the store, this mistake could
cause me a great deal of trouble.
He took great offence, he cursed at me, he told me that if we weren't in the store he would
fight me. I continually told him to calm down.
He continued to curse me down - in front of his boss, other customers, and the camera.
He proceeded to trespass me from the store. He was literally yelling.
I had to decide wether to wait for the police so I could lay charges against him and his manager and Tokyo Smoke - or - to continue on at the Fringe Festival.
I decided to go, and as I thanked him for his service, he continued to curse me.
This can go viral.
I want this man's job and ASAP!
I want some form of recompence from Tokyo Smoke.
Sent in hopes that Justice Matters...

Verified ReviewerWon’t refund me for the newly purchased bong I broke from when I tripped and broke my foot. It was the same day of purchased.
- - Purchased a $97.18 bong.
- - I tripped, broke my right foot, and almost hit my head.
- - Bong was broken and refund denied by Tokyo Smoke manager.
I purchased a $97.18 bong and unfortunately, I tripped broke my right foot, almost hit my head on the toilet, unable to work for the next few days, and of course BROKE THE NEWLY PURCHASED BONG. However, Tokyo smoke manager won't give me refund.
Preferred solution: I just need a new replacement of the bong I purchased doesn’t matter if it’s less expensive as long as it is the same style. There were many of the same style different pricing range. I just wanted a replacement.
User's recommendation: Don’t go there. Worst customer service and the worst manager and assistant manager.
