Today Lending

NO communication, no help, disrespectful to my buyers, unirganized, won't take responsibility for their faults just throws the underwriter under the bus. Worst lending company I have ever worked with and I've been selling homes over 10 years.

Do not use this dishonest lender!! They could care less about you and your clients. They literally avoid you when you call to figure out whats going on.

I had to trick them into talking to me. We where suppose to close yesterday and still NO word on where we stand.

Today Lending did a great job for me. Chris Davenport helped me get a Native American loan to buy my first home.

He helped me find a good realtor and he told me what kind of pitfalls I would need to avoid, like buying a house that was in good condition so we didn't have to get a lot of repairs done. He told me exactly what to expect at each stage and kept me informed the whole time. I got a 30 year fixed rate loan with a great interest rate and closing costs were a little bit lower than he promised. He did everything he promised and we finished right on time.

Working with Today Lending has been a nightmare. I have been laughed at, talked down to and ignored by Chris Davenport and Falon Yost.

They do not take young homebuyers seriously. We have had to do all the work ourselves. They expect everything to be signed and faxed to them immediately, yet they hardly ever receive the documents we fax them. They will let days go by without telling us they never received the items and I have learned to constantly call and double check whether they got them or not....

That is IF you can get them to answer your call. Their customer service is beyond horrible. I cannot tell you how annoying it is to be ignored when you are trying to buy a home. This is THEIR full time job and while my husband and I are busy at our jobs all day, they expect us to take time out for them although they do not reciprocate.

Also, the process of pre-approval was horrendous. We turned in everything we needed and Chris decided that he couldn't read our electric bill correctly. How long has he been in the business? I would have guessed he was a newbie.

Almost denied our pre approval until we had our mortgage specialist through Muskogee Creek Nation handle it. We had never been late on a payment and he continued to give us the run around.

Falon has an attitude and acts like she does not have time for you. Let me say again, this is THEIR JOB.

I had a great experience with Todays Lending!! I applied for a loan in November of 2014, I was denied.

I was told what to do and when to come back and try again, to not give up hope! Returned back when Chris asked me to return. I did everything he requested and because I was patient, Chris worked with me. I am now a proud owner on my first home!!

Thank you Chris, Kelly, and Falon!!! Great people to work with and they truely treat you with care. I couldnt of asked for a better company to get elbow deep in depth with!

Between Chris & Kelly Davenport & Falon Yost. Not one of them can answer the phone or return a phone call or reply to an email.

I was originally pre-approved for an $80,000 home loan but after I signed a contract to buy a house and I paid $500 earnest money, $255 on inspections, & $490 on the appraisal. I was told that all I had left to pay was the remained of my down payment, which was $900 since the seller was paying $4000 in closing cost. Comes to find out I had to around $2000 in closing cost to pay and $150 reappraisal fee which my Realtor had never heard of before. On top of that I had to pay off my credit and my student loan to get my income to debt ratio down which cost me another $5300 which wasn't a problem when I was pre-approved.

Then they just kept making up and asking for paper work multiple times which I kept faxing them over and over.

In the end we finally closed on the house but after I was homeless for almost a week.
