They do NOT pay their vendors nor deliver the work as promised AFTER payment is made.

This company does NOT pay its vendors or deliver on its promise to do work AFTER GETTING PAID to do it. If I could give it a half star I would.

I worked for over two months, communicated daily about the work I was doing for over two months and communicated daily with the manager/owner of the company about the work I was brought on to do and was actively doing.

We spoke on a daily basis, sometimes more than once and everything was going perfectly fine.

Then after having worked for well over a month without any pay at all and after a colleague spent $18,000 on furniture for the job (which I was responsible to repay to my colleague with money from this management companys (TOTCPS) client) I submitted an invoice as directed by TOTCPS to TOTCPS which their client was supposed to pay to them. AT THAT TIME, I was told by TOTCPS that if the client got any more obnoxious and impossibly difficult than he already had that TOTCPS would pay me.

The invoice was for my hours as well as for out-of-pocket purchases and additionally $18,000 worth of furniture that was ordered and shipped and PAID FOR by my colleague who paid for as a help to me.

The client refused to pay at the time payment was due and after I had worked for over a month and after he had agreed to pay simply because he had mismanaged his accounts and was allegedly not a decision maker (news to me). Tip of the Cape Property Services communicated to me more than once that if their difficult client didnt pay that they would pay me because they needed to maintain that relationship because more money was surely coming in from them in the fall.

After the client refused to pay me TOTCPS ceased communicating with me for a month(!)

I was now out about $20,000 because I had missed work on other jobs due to focusing on this one. I needed to get paid for my hours, as well as for purchases which were out-of-pocket for me and $18,000 and magically and mysteriously TOTCPS stopped communicating.

The client (a lawyer no lessallegedly and an ex convict) refused to pay and the owner and manager of the company just disappeared for over a month because they didnt want to pay me. At that point I simply wanted to get paid for my hours and a 10% restocking fee (total of about ($6,000) and still no response. No consideration at all. No return emails, no return phone calls, no return texts.

Nothing. KP, the owner of TOTCPS, stopped all communication even after I cut the amount in half(!) so obviously they never had any intention of paying me.

When I did hear from the owner, KP, I was told shr didnt see the value based on my invoice. Laughable. How could she or her alleged attorney client possibly see any value WHEN THE CLIENT REFUSED TO PULL THE TRIGGER which is what would have allowed all the furniture (which was the result of a months worth of hard work) to be delivered within days?

Hello! You dont pay, you dont get. So they didnt pay, didnt get and then they boo hooed about not seeing any value.

In the end, this is a shoddy company that has no idea how to deal with their vendors ethically and finds lame excuses not to pay.

This company is guilty of wage theft and it is for this reason that I am bringing suit against them in Orleans District Court. I gave them more than several chances ti do the right thing and they refused so now a court will decide.

A lot of headache for all concerned over $6,000.

This company is NOT managed professionally AT ALL. Not hearing good things about this company either from locals. The only thing thing this company is good at is mismanaging and screwing people who work for them. Its four months later and I still havent been paid not a penny.

Not from this company nor from the (alleged) attorney client who it turns out is an ex convict.

On a separate occasion, TOTCPS was mistakenly paid with two $1,000 checks when it was supposed to be one check. TOTCPS has outright refused to return the second check of $1,000 and they never did the work of cleaning our home.

The house was supposed to be cleaned and the only thing they did for $1,000 was clean the refigerator. i gave this company several chances to make this right and was completely ignored by the owner.

I’m sorry Mr. Bongiovanni, but your review is misdirected.

You were not hired by Tip of the Cape Property Services and therefore, not entitled to payment from us. Tip Of The Cape was hired by a homeowner to provide services based on a scope of work and payment terms that we negotiated with the homeowner. Similarly, the homeowner hired you after the two of you came to an agreement regarding the scope of work you were to provide and your payment terms. Tip Of The Cape was not involved in your discussion with the homeowner and did not agree to the terms and conditions that you and the homeowner agreed upon.

Despite our daily involvement and communication with you regarding your part of the project, this was not within our agreed scope of work and therefore not something we were able to charge the client for or recoup through a coordination fee we would have charged if we had hired you as a subcontractor. A few weeks into the job, you submitted an invoice for your services directly to the homeowner and were paid by the homeowner based on the terms you two had discussed. If you are not satisfied with what you were paid for the services that you provided to the homeowner who hired you, then that is between you and them.

We are not responsible for paying vendors we have not hired, simply because they are working at the same address as we are. I wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope you will find it in yourself to remove this unflattering review that does not critique the work or services provided to you by Tip Of The Cape Property Services.

Is the same guy that sent inappropriate pictures of their private parts to the client who fired you. I see that you conveniently left that out in your review. Another “minor” detail you omitted was simply the client was responsible to pay you directly.
