Damaged our thick wool Chinese Friendship rug

We sent our thick wool pile rug for cleaning ,it was returned damaged the rug by running it through large steel rollers to squeeze the water off in so doing they squashed down the thick wool pile and flatened the Oriental symbols/ medallions. They took the rug back to fix and all they did was clean it again and ran it through the steel rollers again. Tinney denies the rollers would do that damage.I searched the Internet and called several professional rug Cleaners that also buy and sell and clean expensive rugs like mine, they all laughed that anyone could make a statement like that. They all use expensive $8,000 to $28,000 used Centrifuge machines because they know the steel rollers will flatten any thick wood rug as well as the symbol/ medallions. Steel rollers are fine with thin rugs and no raised symbols/medallions. Since our rug is old,in demand but impossible to find I asked Tinney for damage compensation of $500 they refuse to pay any compensation. So please be careful if you have a thick wool pile rug like ours where you have it cleaned and Certainly Do Not Use Tinney Rug Cleaners.

User's recommendation: If you have a thick wool pile rug be sure to ask if they use steel rollers when cleaning your rug.
