I had been seeing this dentist for over 10 yrs. When I 1st went in to see him? I told him I had been told I had perodontal disease by another dental group he said, no, I didn't. But, I needed a lot of dental work done. Over the course of 10+ yrs, I have paid out of pocket over $15,000! I go in January 10th? I have no bone left in my lower jaw. He pulled a crown out & pulled everything out with it. Gave me NO rinse,, no antibiotics. Then? He tried to do a root canal on a tooth without antibiotics, which I told him because I have a partial knee replacement, which he knew btw. I MUST have them. I finally get into see a perodontist & he says that crown should not have been pulled, the work done was in his words "Shody" 1 of the crowns he put on? Has a lip on the edge that bacteria was getting caught up under. Now,ALL my bottom teeth have to be pulled, bone has to be grafted & I have to get a temp flipper til that heals. That's BEFORE I can have posts put in to have permanent placement. This could take well over a year + Had he mentioned at any time there was a problem? I would have been in to the perodontist immediately. All he used me for was $$ Any dentist that want's to do work on you & know's you need antibiotics, yet ignores your request 4 time's? Needs to go before the review board & be either fined or lose their license. He took my money, I trusted what he was doing & that he had my health & well being 1st & foremost. He had neither 1st. Just lining his pockets to put his daughter in college at 1 of the most expensive universities in Northwest Indiana. He doesn't even have a dental hygienist to help. His web site is outdated. He doesn't have an answering service or machine to leave a message on if you have an emergency. Trust is crucial when you're paying someone to do work. What this guy did? Is most definitely NOT trustworthy at all. All this guy did? Was cost me double the cost & the pain I'll have to go through? I can't even put a price on. We're retired now & on a fixed income. It's just not right. User's recommendation: STAY AWAY!!!!
