Here is his picture

I signed up for credit card processing, my company did not do really well, so when I tried to cancel the 4 year contract I signed his company would not let us out. I know i signed a contract but there should be a way out.

I know a contract is a contract but what happens when you go out of business. I thought the company would just tear it up. Guess not they say it has to be paid. These banks make enough money.

I tried stop payment and they sent me to collections. I know I agreed to pay but wanted out.

Credit card processing was to much

Tim A Lane - Credit card processing was to much

I am in Atlanta and was promised cheap cc processing, after signing up it cost me money. Watch out for this guy, here is his picture. if you follow this link the company tax ID / social security number is available to verify the same company. *********. He lives in Nashville and has been in the south for over 10 years now selling Credit cars services. If I knew it cost money to use credit cards I would never have signed up. I thought the customer paid for all the costs. Why would I want to pay for fees.

Over a year and still not providing what was promised.

Before I start telling you all about my experience a little about me:

My name is Donald Anderson and I’m owner of a small detailing business named Anderson Boat Cleaning, based out of Sarasota FL. If you search on the Web you will find my Email address and contact information. I am very interested in hearing other stories about this. Both good and bad. I’ve also started a Facebook group “Is Tim A Lane and Preferred Merchant Processing a Fraud??” if you would like to share your story there.

Now this is my story:

Tim met me one day in March 2013 while I was out working. He started talking about how he wanted to help me grow the business. The sales pitch Tim A. Lane from Preferred Merchant Processing gave me was for ONE fee of $58.00 a month to lease a credit card reader, he could get me a 0% interest loan that would be paid off by using the reader in the future. I decided to give it a go the first week of April.

What wasn’t mentioned in the sales pitch was the $400 fee to “fix” my bad credit, the TWO start up fees ($125.00 and $131.21), the fact that the first month was a double payment, TWO processing fees of $5.00 each month and the fact that it Wasn’t ONE Leasing fee, but TWO $64.00 fees from two different companies each month. One from Northern Leasing and one from Global. Most of these charges and fees were directly withdrawn from my account without my prior knowledge of them.

One might think that these surprises are what I’m upset about. They would be wrong. The sad fact is with today’s society I was expecting this type of thing, it’s to be expected. I’m not happy about these surprise charges and the overdraft fees they caused because I wasn’t prepared for them, but the worse is yet to come.

For over a year now he has promised me I would have my loan in hand “today”. For over a year now I have heard every kind of excuse in the book as to why he has missed EVERY meeting. Everything from running his daughter to the emergency room (an excuse I’ve learned he used with others. Even using the same picture of the “injured finger”) to he hit the bar instead, Car issues, Thing coming up, Scheduling issues that he would have known about when making plans with me, Etc Etc. He must have missed at least 25 (probably closer to 50-60) meetings with me. He has never given a solid location to meet me, instead he gives direction like “the Bank” or “Panara Restaurant”. He’s never stopped by my place any of the dozens of times I’ve given him my address, even though he is supposedly less than 3 miles away at the time. I’ve lost count of the times he’s told me he will call “in an hour” and I don’t hear from him till hours or days later after I’ve repeatedly called and text him.

I have over 450 emails to document the ridiculousness that has been going on between him and me, and at least twice that in text messages.

Over the last few months I have been in contact with several others that he has done this to also and have found several other complaints from as far back as 2009. As of 04/25/2014 I know of about 12-14 people who are talking to a lawyer about what actions they can take against him and I wonder how many more are out there.

I can expand and explain in more detail as need be, but I think this give you all a pretty good idea of what I’ve been dealing with.
