I did exactly what their vans say i trusted them. 12-9-2021 my water heater failed i had my wife call them. Not knowing i was about to be scammed. They had my wife sign on a tablet in my name in a rush. Did not give me a list of materials and labor we agreed to one price i got double that. Illinois state law states an honest contractor will give you a list of materials and labor. Tiger plumbing has packages. None of my questions were ever answered in a professional manner except for our prices are our prices and you get what you pay for. Talking to the owner only got me into heated arguments. There was not a scope of work it was only a water heater. 4 days later i recieved two packages in the mail. Total amount was $61,176 dollars. $38000 was their outragous price the rest of it was high interest and lending fees from two out of state lending companies. I just paid off my mortgage and its my opinion they seen that as a chance to make $38000 off two people that did trust them. There is no way i would have let them do the work if i would have known. Talked to the owner and nothing but lies anger and blame. No respect at all even with my veteran status. Yes we did leave good reviews at first because the bombard you will texts to leave a review but this was a few days before i recieved all the paperwork in the mail. Nothing was hassle free and they did not help me or my home they did what was best for them pocketed the money and i was yesterdays trash. My worst mistake of my entire life was calling them when i needed help. I only needed a water heater. Everything else was made up lies they gave to get my wife to sign on a tablet in my name while i was working. Nothing can be done about it now. Filed with the state attorney general. Nothing and lawyers just want what they took. That part of my life i will never get back. Paid off my house that i got on a va loan and was turned into horror a regret from lies they sold my wife while i was at work. It has been a horrible time in my life but it made Tiger Plumbing smile and proud. I wish i would have looked at other online reviews before i found out what they really are financially impacting me and my home for years.
