Tidewater has taken over our assocations
I just found out that Tidewater controls our money. I live in Hickory Ridge.
Tidewater is the nasty company I have ever known. They have taken over the money we paid. At our last meeting we ask our tresurer what was in the account. That's when she informs us, that Scott (who works for Tidewater) takes care of our money.
She could not tell us now much money we had. At our next meeting I am going to ask for a independant audit on the money. Tidewater company are really a group of mean people. I never knew my assoc was so controled by Tidewater.
They have taken over our assocations. I feel that the way Tidewater demandeds my money, I am going to demanded to know where MY money went.

1 review 1.0 star rating 7/10/2017 I have just been reading the reviews for Tidewater and I have to agree. They are by far the worst ever.
This is my experience. In February of 2015, I rented a condo unit at 4954 Lockard Drive in Owings Mills. A Mr. F.
Rahmani did the walkthrough with me and we noted several things that needed repair or attention, including broken blinds in the kitchen and broken doorknobs. After I moved in, I became trapped in the master bedroom for almost a half an hour because of the broken doorknob. I then had my son-in-law replace the three broken doorknobs and the kitchen blinds because Tidewater never followed up on the repairs. As the weather got warm, I realized that the windows in both of the upstairs bedrooms were inoperable.
They would not stay up without being propped up. I wrote several emails to Tidewater about the windows and was told that they would send a contractor out to fix them. It NEVER happened. I lived there for two years and three months and the windows were never fixed.
I also told the person from Tidewater who came twice to inspect the house twice that the windows either would not open or would not stay open. I am sure you are aware that this is a serious code viloation (The Egress Code) because, as my son-in-law pointed out, in the event of an emergency, I would not be able to get out safely. I worried about that every time my grand children spent the weekends with me. This is a serious safety code violation.
The problem I am having that I need your help with is this. For the 2 plus years, I never complained and I did not report this violation, even though I could have. My lease ended May 31st of this year. When I moved out, my whole family and I made sure the place was cleaned throroughly.
I cleaned the oven, the refrigerator, and the carpet. I vacuumed all three levels. My sister scrubbed the floor and my son did the landscaping. We left the place in excellent condition.
The gentleman from Tidewater, Cody Bishop, told me specifically that he would inspect the property after I moved out and send me his report. I NEVER heard from him. If he had sent me his report, I would have met him at the property with my son-in-law, to dispute his claim that the unit was not cleaned. Out of my $2,425.42 security deposit, they took $668.96 they say for cleaning.
This is completely unfair to me and I need the remainder of my security deposit sent to me. I did not deserve that much to be taken out. This has left me with a serious financial hardship. When I moved, I had to borrow the money to pay the security deposit where I am.
I counted on that money for that. I am going through a very tough time right now. My brother is suffering from colon cancer and all of my money is needed to help him. All of this was so unexpected.
He is having a hard time and the sad thing is, he is a veteran but is not getting the help from the government that he needs. Sometimes people don't have a heart and disregard other people's pain. I understand why people just give up and want to end it all. When I spoke to Mr.
Rahmani about my money, I was in tears. I know he heard that in my voice. I was a voice of depair. Over $600 may not be much to some, but it is a lot to me.
I am asking you to please look into this matter and please have them send me the money I so desperately need. Taking this $600.00 caused a serious financial hardship for me. I will not rest until I receive the rest of my deposit. I have also written to Mr.
Stanley Greenberg, the president. I will contact whoever until it is resolved.

HOA Property services
I live in Pearman's Overlook in Pasadena, MD. Christina Yingling of Tidewater is our managing agent to go to when there are problems. As far as I am concerned there could be a bomb going off in the community and she would not care. There was a car accident on 12/23/15 in front of the East side of the community. The person's car went into the once beautiful wrought iron fence and damaged it severely in addition to going over the fire hydrant which was replaced the very next day since the police had to be called to the scene. I reported it to the builder and he told Christina Yingling to take care of it. I followed up with an e-mail to her to make sure she knew about it. After I didn't see the fence being replaced, I followed up in March again. She asked me to meet her to show he where it was. I told her that I would not take time off of work because it was obvious where the damage is especially since this is the only fence of this kind around. She said she would take care of it. Next month, nothing happened so I sent another e-mail with no response back from Ms, Yingling. This went on for several months and I stopped e-mailing her as I saw that nothing was going to be done by her. So here it is 9 months later and the fence is still all dented in and the already poor HOA will have to spend money on something that should have been taken care of by this guy's insurance. This is just one of the many problems the Tidewater of MD wants to turn away from. If you for a company to manage your HOA, stay far, far, far away from this one
