Tidewater Equestrian Center
Tidewater Equestrian Center in Hampton, Virginia. Completely unprofessional. Inappropriate relationships and public displays of affection. People and place are not a good atmosphere for children. Instructor uses students to train her "training" horses because she is too afraid to get on them herself. Not a good experience at all. Would not let my children take lessons here at any cost. Treated very poorly, rudely, and inappropriately by the instructor herself. Avoid if at all possible! There are better, friendlier barns in the area. While they other barns may be more expensive, they are definitely worth the price in professionalism and atmosphere.

Tidewater Equestrian Center
As a former student of the now "Tidewater Equestrian Center" I must worn against getting involved with the instructor. Not only does she lack the qualifications and skill to bring a rider through the levels, she is first and foremost unprofessional.
Not only is she manipulative, and only concerned with her wellbeing, but she will not hesitate to place blame on others when she is at fault. On several occasions the blame has been placed on her students who are generally younger girls. I implore you to look elsewhere! Not a safe relationship!
STAY AWAY! You and your horse are better off AND safer with a different instructor/program.
